Warm and cosy for a quiet winter break.

It’s a very comfortable apartment on the ground floor with easy parking and a garden….although we weren’t able to be outside this time because of the weather. We visit St Omer regularly and always stay here. Best recommendation really.

A well appointed ground floor apartment in this lovely town.

This is our “go to “ accommodation in St Omer. For short breaks or longer stays. It’s a great place to stay. Parking on the street outside, easy access to the station and a short walk up to the centre of this wonderful town with such history, and a good choice of shops and places to eat. The flat is so comfortable ,with everything supplied to make your stay memorable and you can sit in your private garden when weather allows. The lovely hosts are easy to contact , and, in fact, own the bigger flat upstairs , La Lumiere, which helps when other friends and family need to join us. We are looking forward to our next stay already.

Nice stay in spacious and beautiful appartment

The appartement is wonderful. Large, high ceilings, light & beautiful. The garden is also a bonus. Good bed, good kitchen and well equiped. Good bathroom. Lovely. You can park for free on the street (only not the 14th of july), and there is enough parkingspace nearby.

It was a bit further walking to the city centre than we thought. But in 15 minutes you are there (if you don’t get astray like us :)).

Well appointed apartment in a great central location. Plenty of equipment in kitchen for self catering. Pleased that coffee and tea provided.

TV channel availability poor, very few free channels, all French with no international channels at all. Additional services all led to a payment requirement or a login which was not provided.

Fabulous, we'll be back!

Cool, comfortable and well equipped. Good sized accommodation. Great shower. Private garden gets the sun. We always managed to park outside. Location worked well for us - bar/tabac nearby, centre, station, Lidl, restaurant etc. all very walkable. All in all a great place to stay in a surprisingly fabulous town with lots to enjoy.

The only 'negatives' were very minor, included here just for completeness- No sink in the toilet meant walking through the kitchen to the bathroom to wash hands. TV in bedroom but not lounge (we didn't mind this). An extra towel or two wouldn't go amiss.

Great quiet break, just a short drive from Calais with a bustling Saturday market.

We loved the apartment, it seemed to us like a typical French building with huge, high doors and roller blinds to close at night. The modern kitchen and shower room were the best we've had on holidays, the shower was big enough for two (no, we didn't try it, we're both 70!) It was nice to have central heating that worked properly and quickly, and there were no problems with the Wi fi or with the on-street parking outside. The railway station was just at the end of the street. The apartment was on the ground floor with just 2 steps at the entrance which suited our knees fine! There was also a lovely private garden. We'd definitely use it again.

Highest Commendation!

We stayed for a month and had an excellent stay. The location, not too far from the train station and the main squares of Saint-Omer, is ideal. The spacious and airy property has all the modern conveniences, including a convection oven and dishwasher, and is spotlessly clean. The host replied promptly to our questions and was a delight to deal with. In all, we very highly recommend this beautiful property and give it our top commendation.

Très bel appartement avec de beaux volumes et un joli jardin. Décoration de bon goût.cuisine bien équipée avec même du café et thé à disposition. facile de se garer gratuitement devant. explications claires fournies par le propriétaire. je reviendrai avec plaisir.

Die Wohnumg liegt am Rande der Altstadt. Boulangerie und kleine Laeden sind in der Naehe. Restaurants sind zahlreich und gut.

Sehr schöne Wohnung mit Garten und Terrasse

Die Wohnung ist wunderschön, hat riesige Fenster, hohe Decken und die Einrichtung hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Terrasse hat uns noch einige spätsommerliche Frühstücke im Freien ermöglicht, worüber wir uns sehr gefreut haben. Die Lage nahe dem Bahnhof (und einem kostenfreien Parkplatz dort) war für uns sehr günstig. Zum Zentrum, Kathedrale, Restaurants etc. sind es nur einige Minuten zu Fuß. Leider haben wir die Vermieter nicht persönlich getroffen. Die Kommunikation vorab per Mail war ausgesprochen freundlich und informativ. Die Schlüsselübergabe durch einen Schlüsselkasten vor Ort sehr unkompliziert.

Leider liegt das Schlafzimmer zur Straße hin, die durch das Kopfsteinpflaster sehr laut ist. Mit geschlossenem Rolladen und geschlossenem Fenster konnte man jedoch gut schlafen.
