L’incanto del borgo Tropea

Ohne Frühstück, die Lage war gegenüber einem Supermarkt, dessen bewachten Parkplatz wir kostenlos benutzen konnten! Die Innenstadt und der Hafen waren zu Fuß in ca. 20 Minuten erreichbar.

Eigentlich war alles in bester Ordnung.

Nadia and her husband picked us up at the. station and drove to the apartment, which is really clean and neat, and also well equipped if you want to cook. It boasts a really big and cosy terrace where you can enjoy your meals. The location is perfect to reach both the beach and Tropea centre. Definitely recommend.

Nothing

This is not a two bedroom apartment as advertised it is one bed plus sofa bed in living/kitchen area. The air conditioning is one unit over the entrance door to the apartment so serves all areas. The location is good a short walk to the old town, beaches and numerous supermarkets. The communication was very helpful and Nadia offered to collect us from the station which was very welcome.

The road outside the apartment leads to the beach and marina and has a constant stream of traffic in the evening so is noisy on the balcony. The exterior of the building is very run down, with various trip hazards for the less mobile. It does appear to be in the process of some works but nothing happened the week we stayed. A huge pile of rubbish was left at the bottom of the stairs for the whole week we were there. A bath towel, washing up liquid and tea towels should have been included in the price as this accommodation is not inexpensive.
