Location, location location. & the decor of the house, it was beautiful

The steep stairs! Little bit tricky yet we knew this before

My son and I had a lovely time at the Tenth Cottage in Wirksworth. The property had features which made if have a homely feel. Side lights had been left on to welcome us, it felt warm and cozy. The complimentary cookies were appreciated and we enjoyed them with a cup of tea. The smaller of the two bedrooms did not have much room to store our belongings, so we used the empty top bunk. The main room, was bright, airy with plenty of space. Both beds were comfortable and clean and we enjoyed sampling the record player which my lad hadn't seen before. Happy days.. We both enjoyed the cottage, the area and would recommend it, for its cleanliness, comfort and location to explore the peaks.

The only issue was parking. I wasn't aware, my error, that there was time limited parking outside the property. But on reaching out with Martin he advised where free parking was allocated.

Location was great, area was beautiful and friendly

Parking was not so available. We had to park up quite far and walk in. Was ok for us but not great if you have elderly or small kids. We did see the traffic warden ticketing
