I loved the beautiful grounds and quiet location. The facilities were very clean and well maintained. The room and furnishings were also very high quality. I’m really glad I picked this bed and breakfast. Above all I was really touched by the kindness of the inn keepers and owner that came across in all my interactions with them. Shwana and her husband, the inn keepers, are very friendly and helpful. They also really cared about making my stay as comfortable as possible. For example, my connecting flight from St Louis to Marion was initially delayed until about 9 pm and then was eventually canceled. Shwana waited up late for me until about 9 pm long after the 4-6 pm check-in window and when the flight was canceled she made alternative arrangements for me to pick up the keys. The next day I was having trouble getting a taxi to my event in Carbondale and the owner Greg kindly gave me a ride to my event.

We chose simply for their EV charger- but this property is special. Designed with attention to detail and the perfect place to relax. Excellent breakfast.
