Charming house, pool and private courtyard next to a castle, and with air-conditioning.
4-bedroom, 2-bathroom village house, next to the château, with private courtyard, private heated pool and air-conditioning, sleeping up to 10 people.
This charming and spacious house is a stone's throw from some of the most picturesque châteaux, vineyards and bastides in the Dordogne. Châteaux Bridoire and Monbazillac to name but a few, or the bastide town of Issigeac with its famous Sunday market.
Your journey will take you through the gentle hills of the Bergerac vineyards.
The property is just 15 minutes drive from Bergerac airport, with a private and fully enclosed courtyard, barbecue and pizza oven, outdoor seating under a shaded terrace which is perfect for eating or sipping drinks while watching your family play in a heated pool.
This large family home has plenty to offer to make your stay enjoyable and memorable.
Bedroom 1: On the ground floor, overlooking a picturesque village square, adjacent to the chateau, comfortable 140*200 bed, the room is also furnished with a large sofa, recliner and TV.
Bedroom 2: On the first floor, with uninterrupted views over the countryside, 1 king-size bed 150*200 and 2 single beds 90*190, perfect for children.
Bedroom 3: On the first floor, comfortable 140*200 bed, with a view of Sadillac castle.
Bedroom 4: On the first floor, overlooking the village square, adjacent to the château, 2 spacious 90*200 beds.
Kitchen/dining room on the ground floor: large table seating 8 comfortably with extra chairs available. Large fridge/freezer, oven, induction hob, dishwasher, fireplace. Terrace door leading to courtyard car park.
Ground floor living/dining room: Furnished with comfortable sofa, large armchair, TV and oval dining table, suitable for home office or children's play. Double terrace doors leading to the private courtyard, with wonderful views over the pool.
First floor living/dining room: 2 comfortable sofas, TV, dining table with 4 chairs, beautiful views of the village and countryside.
Bathroom 1: on the ground floor, toilet, washbasin and shower, perfect for those who want to use the pool.
Bathroom 2: On the first floor, shower, washbasin, bidet. Separate toilet on the same floor.
Laundry: On the ground floor, door to the courtyard and shaded terrace with wine, barbecue and pizza oven. Bathroom 1, washing machine, tumble dryer, small freezer, hoover, ironing board and iron.
Bed linen and towels are provided. For stays of more than 2 weeks, bed linen and towels will be changed weekly.
There is also secure private parking for one car on the property and further free parking available just outside the house.

We had another fantastic holiday at this beautiful villa. The setting is ideal, peaceful but so close to many great places to visit. The evening markets, kayaking on the Dordogne and visits to chateau’s were just a few of the highlights of the trip. Emilia and Henry made us feel very welcome and gave us tips on where to visit. We hope to be able to go back to the villa again for another memorable holiday.

Fantastic location to explore Bergerac, vineyards, châteaux and Lot-et-Garonne. A really spacious and beautiful house for two families of 4. We all really loved the pool, the quite location and all the amenities that the house provided. Great support was provided by Emilia and Henry, which was really appreciated.

Notre séjour s’est merveilleusement déroulé de la remise des clés par Emilia très sympathique et toujours disponible à la fin de notre séjour.
Il est à noter cependant quelques bémols :
- une piscine annoncée chauffée mais qui en réalité est chauffée par l’air ambiant,
- pas d’équipement pour nettoyer la piscine et pour vérifier la qualité de l’eau,
- le four à pizza très joli mais équipé de bûchettes ayant pris la pluie et non utilisable,
- mon mari a dû poser une feuille blanche sur les caméras installées dans le salon et la cuisine assez intrusives et dérangeantes.
Je recommande toutefois cette maison.
