The property is in a great location and is well maintained. Everything you need is there and the hosts have gone above and beyond to supply you with additional kitchen utensils etc. the guest book is excellent and provides recommendations for local attractions as well as takeaway options. The outdoor space at the back is also ideal if you have a dog.
The negative side of the property will all depend on the guests that stay above you. If you have a noisy group above you that make noise until the early hours or go up and down constantly late evening to their games room, it can be disturbing. Noise travels easily through the property and staying on the ground floor can be significantly impacted by those that stay above.

Cute little flat, nicely furnished and comfortable, it had everything we needed for our stay. Good location, only about 10 minutes walk either direction to go to Windermere town centre or Bowness
Doors were a bit tight, so you had to be careful not to smash them when closing. We were lucky with our upstairs neighbours but as it’s a house converted to flats, you can hear noise from the upper flat

Great location, easy to walk to Windermere or Bowness. Recently refurbished, everything was spotless.
Depends who was upstairs, could be quiet loud.

Beautiful, modern and well-equipped apartment, well located between Windermere and Bowness, with the hop-on bus stopping just outside. It was a comfortable and relaxing stay, with lots of attention to detail in the finishing touches.
One of the earlier reviews is right about potential noise from the upstairs apartment, but this varied depending on who was staying there. On the first night a family with young children running and jumping upstairs was very noisy; after that a couple with a dog and older child were quiet as church mice. I absolutely wouldn’t let it put me off going back.
