Luxury, private, secure self-contained Coach House, near Wythall and close to the NEC

Beautiful grounds lovely property nicely furnished.

The location was lovely. Not too far from the airport or the NEC but it really felt miles apart from the hustle and bustle of the big city. Easy to reach by car and just a nice place to stay. The host was very accommodating of my wife's gluten allergy and provided bread and snacks on arrival for her.

There were a few small things that didn't massively impact our stay, but the dishes weren't especially clean and we needed to rewash glasses before using them. The place was generally clean and tidy but there were some big spider webs that needed dusting. Some items needed a little bit of TLC, like the plug in the bathroom didn't work properly and one of the blinds didn't open in the room.

The Coach House was very nice. Large open room, studio type bedroom and living room, with an adjoining bathroom. The kitchen is on the first floor next to the stairs that go up. The bed was nice and firm with comfortable sheets, pillows and blankets. (I do not like soft, nor do I like a squishy bed thus imagining how many have slept there before) The heat worked great in the whole unit. The bathroom had a bath, a separate shower, plenty of towels and even a skylight looking right into a tree top and the sky beyond. If we had wanted we could of used the washing machine. Nice large backyard views, even saw a couple of deer, and easy to go thru the automatic gate. Love staying in a place where we are the only ones, hence super quiet. Well-appointed with everything we needed and very clean.

The bathroom ceiling top was open to the rest of the suite. Privacy issue just a bit with it this way. The bathroom was slightly cold without its own heating radiator, in late November, but once showering, it heated up fine.
