About this cottage rental

The Bijou Malthouse is our luxury studio apartment situated just 15 minutes from Stratford upon Avon in the heart of rural south Warwickshire in a village setting. Just fully refurbished at the start of 2024 with Hypnos Kingsize bed, oak flooring, John Lewis furnishings and design. Ideal base to explore Stratford upon Avon, Roman Alcester, Warwick, Leamington Spa, the Cotswolds or Birmingham and Coventry.

Fully self contained with 32” TV, Fridge, Hob and Combination Cooker, and breakfast bar. Parking is literally outside the front door so extremely easy access for those with mobility issues. Large walk in shower in separate en-suite bathroom. A separate 12x12 log cabin with wifi is providing for relaxing in with fantastic countryside views and 2 private patio areas with table and chairs

Just the right size for two people. Plenty of room to hang clothes. Excellent summer room. Sat outside in sun, which was very private with the new fence.

Such a lovely place to stay. Peaceful, quiet and could hear the cuckoo’s, owls, lambs. Garden room so nice to chill out with a glass of wine or champagne on the garden area right next to the cottage. Weather great also.

Fabulous stay at the Bijou malt House, perfect for a solo traveller or couple. Roger and Sue are terrific hosts, extremely friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Make sure you make use of the summer house which is all yours. I nodded off every time I spent a couple of hours relaxing and reading my book. Gorgeous views of the fields beyond. Would definitely stay there again.

Set in a quiet village, this idyllic location makes a superb central base for visiting all the local places of interest. The accommodation is superbly equipped and decorated, having everything that you would need. The private courtyard patio area and the use of the garden cabin are added bonuses to what is provided. The hosts are keen to ensure your stay has everything that you’ll need. Highly Recommended A+++

If you are looking for a base to relax and take in the peace and quiet aswell as explore and take in the scenery this is the place for you. Roger and Sue are always ready to help and are so hospitable we totally enjoyed every minute and hope to visit again soon. The accommodation is a little gem with everything you need. The bed was the best we have ever slept in! Thank you so much Roger and Sue.

Lovely place stayed there as we had a family BBQ….40th birthday. Warm accommodation which was appreciated as the weather was foul. Very comfy and large bed …plenty of general room can’t fault it.

Beautifully decorated and immaculately clean with very friendly helpful hosts, set in a rural location which was perfectly situated for our short trip to visit Warwick, Stratford-upon-Avon. and Leamington Spa Would definitely return
