Villa Delfin

The villa was fabulous. Everything we could need under one roof. The place was spotless when we arrived. Lots of space for 8 of us. Loved the table tennis table. The pool was great fun. The kitchen was well equipped. The air conditioning in the bedrooms, only at night, was very welcomed. The walk into Cala d'Or took about 15 mins. The beach at Cala Gran was busy but nice. A great view of the sea from the balcony.

1 thing we didn't like was that there wasn't a ley lock for the doors to get out to the pool. We had a 5 year old with us who was able to open the shutters. We would have felt safer to have a key to doors like that. I know it is obviously what they do in the area but having to put the recycling out every day, sometimes twice a day was a bit much when we were on holiday but that is just personal to us.

Mooie villa, van alle gemakken voorzien, op een prachtige locatie! Wij hebben ons er die week prima vermaakt. De kinderen hebben iedere dag van het zwembad gebruik gemaakt.(watertemp. 20 gr.)

Als ik iets moet noemen, dan zijn het enkele bedden waarvan de matrassen wellicht vervangen kunnen worden. Maar er is niet iets te noemen wat ons niet beviel.

Location was fantastic, the villa had absolutely everything you could possibly need. Would definitely book this villa again

Very clean & comfortable. The pool area was excellent & very well appointed with good quality sun beds & furniture.

There were notices about putting out rubbish & threats of fines if not adhered to. It was impossible to comply with these instructions as there were not enough collections of each category of rubbish which resulted in us having to leave bags of separated rubbish which didn’t include food waste. There was an address of a facility where we could take rubbish but on investigation found that it was a 23 minute car ride away & we didn’t have a car. We had a transfer from the villa to airport booked for 3pm but were told we had to vacate the villa at 10am. As we were a party of 6 adults & 3 young children with 7 large suitcases & all had carry on bags also we asked if we could leave our luggage inside the gate of the property until we were due to get picked up but were told no as other people were due at the property. We said that we would put them round the back of the property & take full responsibility for any loss. The answer was still no. The young lady I spoke to suggested a locker storage facility in the centre of the town. On enquiring we discovered it would cost €105 to store our cases for 4 hours plus the cost of taxis to get them there. We also explained that we were having difficulty changing our pick up point. This cased us a great deal of stress during the last 2 days of, what up until then was a very pleasant holiday for our family. I would suggest a large lock box just inside the gate would solve this issue for other travellers. When we went back to the villa trailing our cases we discovered that there were no guests there. This really did take the shine off a very good holiday & let the villa down.
