B&B Domus Piedigrotta

Private parking for property. Nice treats for breakfast. Basically on top of one of the interesting things to see in Pizzo, the cave church. Room is clean, but basic. There is a quiet beach down the cave church. Unfortunately it is not very clean though.

Hard to find from street, building seems not very taken care of from the outside, hotel is on 4th floor, not very close to main town. The walk to the town is not very easy since it’s on the main street and cars speed. One needs to drive 5 min and park (paying) in front of entrance to the old town to get to the interesting parts.

The hotel is in a nice location near a cave church that is easy to get to on the coast across the road below the hotel. Google took us straight to the hotel which was very helpful because the hotel is not well marked. There is good offstreet free parking at the B&B for those that have a car. The rooms are nicely decorated, clean, and comfortable. We had a double bed with a beautiful “side” sea view from our balcony. In addition our hosts were very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was simple and good. We were expecting a packaged croissant but instead there were some fresh pastries, croissants, and a freshly prepared Nutella tart/pie (which was lovely!). We had access to complementary coffee and tea all day and night, which is a plus for us coffee drinkers.

B&B was not well marked from the road

Kamer was al in de ochtend klaar. Mooi balkon met uitzicht op de straat (net een film). Loopafstand van Piedigrotta. Er was een lift. Heel schoon, modern ingericht. 20 min van luchthaven. Goed bereikbare en super aardige host.

Het was behoorlijk gehorig. Je hoorde de buurman z’n keel schrapen. Matras bed had een enorme kuil.

Great room with beautiful view. Nice beach just a few meters from the hotel. Very friendly atmosphere. Also a fantastic restaurant next door was a big plus.
