Rooms are small for the value paid, also no proper view. The windows are frosted which makes the room feel a bit claustrophobic. Rooms are kept clean. Overall conveniently located in the centre of Kyoto’s key attractions. The onsen is definitely a plus for this hotel.
We had initially emailed the hotel to help us make reservations for restaurants. Response from Front desk was very slow until the day we arrived. They did however help us when we arrived. Just felt for a special collection hotel and under the Marriott group in a country where language is limited would see concierge facilities to be top-notch.
