Adequate lodging for events in Cortez.

The location was convenient to the event we were attending.

It was tremendously hot, and the air conditioning was not fully functional. We had to keep getting up in the night, cut the unit off, and then re-start it to keep the room cool. We realized this was an older Quality, but the equipment in the room needs to be maintained.

Great view, friendly folks, comfortable room and easy access to park

We were greeted by one of the sweetest and most welcoming hostess, Pamela! She made us feel like family and that started off our stay, in a wonderful way! Our room was on the second floor of the upper building and was clean, comfortable and just the right size. We slept great, had a great hot shower and headed home. The only off comment would be the level of noise coming in through the door and walls. We could hear more than normal. Otherwise, beautiful view of the mountains and within walking distance to a variety of restaurants and stores. Quality Inn near Mesa Verde is a perfect choice for anyone needing a cozy place to stay that serves a yummy breakfast while they are visiting the must see Mesa Verde National Park!

Good option for staying close to Mesa Verde

Very close to Mesa Verde National Park. Very friendly staff and gave us good recommendations for dinner spots. Breakfast included with quite a few options.

Parking seemed to get a little crowded at night so unless your back early you might have to park farther away from your room. Otherwise the place is a good option for visiting Mesa Verde.

What did I sign up for?

I liked the hard surface floors.

The desk clerk was not on property to check us in. We waited 35 minutes for her to get there. I expected a 3 star hotel and I got a 2 star motel. The room was loud. You could hear the talking in the room next door. To get to breakfast we had to walk down a hill. I have bad knees that made it very uncomfortable. Why did we walk - because there is not adequate parking by our room. We did not want to move the car in case we could not get parking on our return. I would not stay here again.

Fine if you’re just passing through for a night

Place was clean and nicely located

Had to check in by video chatting a customer service rep in the lobby since they don’t keep someone at the desk 24/7. Was hard to hear due to low volume and just wasn’t efficient at all. Curtains are completely sheer and cannot be changed, so anyone can see directly into your window (which faces the parking lot). Didn’t totally feel comfortable but was fine for a night or two.

Our room was comfortable and the bathroom had been updated.

The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was updated. The shower was very nice, and fairly modern.

The breakfast wasn’t particularly great. The scrambled eggs were gone. However, there were hard boiled eggs left. The corned beef hash was cold. Overall, the breakfast that is advertised could be improved.

Close to Mesa Verde and day trip to Durango for the steam train journey.

Dark room at bottom of two storey building but we were only sleeping there so no big deal. Very noise air conditioning which kept cutting in and out all night.

The motel staff is one of the friendliest we have ever encountered. Thank you 🙏🏻 Breakfast is a huge postive surprise. Very extended complete breakfast. Duvets are comfy and not static synthetic, excellent mattress.

The ice machine in the hall makes so much noise all day, it can be heard in your room no matter how far away you are from it. This could easily be fixed.

The continental breakfast was very good. The hot scrambled eggs were some of the best that I've had at a motel. Very clean and neat area and pleasant to sit and have breakfast.

The person at the desk when we checked in was very polite and welcoming. I don't remember her name but she was very professional.

The room was clean but the bed was very squeaky. Every time we got out of bed it was too noisy. It had a metal stand for the mattress. We were told that breakfast was from 6am to 9am. We went down for breakfast at 6am and the doors were closed and it was still dark inside. We waited 10 minutes and still no one was at the door. Ended up having to leave my room key through the door slit. And leaving.

I will never stay there again. Only thing i wanted was a good nights sleep. The room was by the Boiler room. I got in 2 hrs sleep between people getting ice & coming in the door. Then at 1230 am an alarm started going off. At 230am i finally got up & dressed & traced it to the boiler room. Called front desk on house phone. No answer. Then let it ring & ring on my cellphone. No answer. I wasnt about to walk down the hill to front bldg to try to wake someone up.The sound was torture. I thought about calling the fire dept.At 630am told owner. She acted like it was ok. Said it was just a battery issue. Did not offer any consolation or compensation. Also the room heater was very loud, going off & on alot. No rest for the stressed & weary!
