Wombat's City Hostel Munich Werksviertel

I stayed in a 6 bed female dormitory room and everything was exceptionally clean and we had two toilet/bathroom so two people can use bathroom at the same time. Easy access to the room, and everything that is needed is there in the bed (lights, ac, charging ports, space to keep your bags, shoes) Overall I have no complaints

I loved everything

The rooms are clean and the building is modern. The bathroom was new and very clean, the bed as well and there was cleaning done every day. Although there was a heatwave outside, the room was nice and cool. The bed was comfortable and I honestly slept very well. I liked that we had a lounge area and a fully equipped kitchen where you can hang out and cook your own stuff, the atmosphere was very warm, friendly and safe. Also, there is a cafe/ bar downstairs so I could always go there to eat or have a drink. The hostel is located in a nice area close to the train station.

Check out is at 10:00 but the cleaning comes before that to check if you have already left. So every morning around 8 AM the cleaning would come and they would see that we are still in the room, getting ready etc. and then come back again at 9 AM and so on until check out time. Also once it was around 8 AM I was still in the room getting ready and they came to clean and I had to leave the shower wait on the hallway for 10-15 min until they cleaned. Also some more shelves in the room would have been nice.

The location was one of the best thing about this hostel. Only 30 minutes away from the Central Train Station of Munich. The staff was really friendly, flexible and helpful all the time.

Sometimes the lift didn’t work and the kitchen was full.
