About this cottage rental
Lakeside Splash is our closest cottage to the lake, in Oscoda, MI. Well suited for families, couples, singles, or anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. Relax on the beach, take a dip in the lake, or simply sit by the fire, we have whatever you're looking for. Four miles south is the town of Oscoda known as Paddletown, USA thanks to the beautiful AuSable River which lets out into Lake Huron just before downtown. Also in Oscoda are awesome areas to hike and fish. Travel down River Road scenic by-way named Michigan's most scenic drive by Big Seven Travel, which cuts through the Huron National Forest, with many stopping points such as Lumberman's Monument and gorgeous Iargo Springs. The cottage includes; 2 bedrooms with queen-size mattresses, one pull-out couch, and a kitchen stocked with dishes, silverware, and other cookware. Beds are furnished with linens and bath towels are supplied as well. Hand and dish soap is provided. A full list of amenities and local attractions may be found in the check-in binder provided. On Memorial Day weekend, we enjoyed our second stay at Lovango Hideaway, and we're already talking about our third. We love this place, and the hosts are super-responsive and courteous. It's clean, roomy, the kitchen is a joy to cook in, and the beach and grounds are just glorious. Can't wait for next year!

Chairs and fire pit were nice. However the grill was nasty and rusted. Dirty washcloth in bathroom. Bathroom garbage wasn't removed. It had trash and dirty tampons in it.
