The apartment has an amazing location and view in an old mill overlooking a lock. The renovation was lovely with a chic design and everything that you may need in the kitchen. It was wonderful to watch the boats using the lock and people canoeing from the apartment.
The little town was lovely but the restaurants and shops in walking distance were open very irregular hours. Perhaps this was the end of the season (end of August)? Spiral staircase to upstairs bedroom would be difficult for older people but not impossible 😀

Close to the river and Main Street. Love the outlook over the river.
Narrow stairs. Difficult to get suitcases up.
