E & G - Figareto Apartment

I was 33 week pregnant when staying at this accomodation and the access was very difficult. When booking I entered "Upper floors accessible by elevator" and this apartment was available so I thought it had a lift. I also contacted the host after booking to share information incase the access was going to be different for me. I was hoping if it was access by stairs that they could move me to a room on the lower level. I got absolutely no response and there was no assistance provided.

Not a lot for breakfast but plenty of tea and coffee and water.

To be honest we would struggle to find anything we didn’t like.

The place is light and airy and has good air conditioning. I was always going to eat out so I didn't take much notice of the cooking options but they are quite basic. There are big balconies facing west and south. The owners are on site just about every morning if you need anything, but I really didn't. They are lovely too. It's very well located just down the hill from the famous location for watching movements at the airport. There are several options there for food and drink. There's a bus stop very close to the apartment with services into Corfu Town every 20 minutes

The only downside is airport noise. The property is well glazed to exclude much of the noise but it's still frequent. The airport has got much busier since my last stay in Kanoni 11 years ago. While there are many more quieter aircraft these days, the flights start earlier and continue later than they used to. There is a small supermarket up the hill but it has limited stock. No real options if you're looking to self-cater. Fortunately there are lots of options for eating out, although they are all fairly pricey.
