Perfect holiday house in Ribe

When we arrived with our family in this Ribe house we felt right at home. The house looks great en is really clean. When you think of Hygge, here it is. Located in the historic city centre, near the shops and restaurants. You can see the oldest cathedral of Denmark through the bathroom window. We had a great stay!

Excellent!

Præstegade 11 in Ribe is most likely the best place we have ever stayed. Everything was so nice, clean and extremely well equipped. The outside area is perfect for nice weather - and you do not get better location in Ribe. This is a 10/10 place and we would definitely come back if ever back in Ribe 😍.

The perfect stay in Ribe

The location was perfect, right by the square and high street but tucked away in a quiet street with little foot traffic. The house itself was beautiful, with a well-equipped kitchen and superb outdoor space with a barbecue.

It would be nice if there was a parking space, but of course that is out of Bente's control. Aside from that the only little thing I can think of is some basic instructions in English in the info book for using the washer/dryer. We struggled to figure it out from the Danish manual (though that isn't something I didn't like about our stay, but just a suggestion :) )

Beautiful house in a beautiful town.

The holiday house at Præstegarde 11 is absolutely beautiful. The house has been lovingly renovated to the highest of standards. The appliances and fittings are first-rate, a quooker tap instead of a kettle - genius, wish we had one at home, USB ports in the plug sockets, a huge dishwasher (tabs provided), a washing machine, lovely shower and comfortable beds. The house is literally a stone’s throw from the cathedral, you can see it from several windows and especially from the garden. The kitchen had everything we needed and we enjoyed the cosy patio area for dinner in the evening. The town of Ribe is the oldest in Denmark and picture-perfect. There is so much to see and do and it is just a short drive to the sea. The bottle of wine waiting for us upon arrival was much appreciated, thank you, and the local bakery Pompeji was excellent, we have never seen so many cakes and pastries in one place before :-) Remember in Denmark to bring your own bed linen and towels or be prepared to request them at a small additional cost. We brought our own which was no problem at all. We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely house and wonderful town.

Wonderful location in the middle of the very nice city of Ribe. Enough space, all new, well equiped, a terrasse/garden, comfortable beds, all was perfect! If we come back, it will be here of course!

Perfect house for a short stay in the middle of Ribe. Very good contact with the 'super'host!

It's a beautiful renovated house in a supurb location. The fresh flowers, the crib all set up, and the luxucious and convenient details make it feel like a warm welcome. We were impressed by the excellent build quality of the house, and the enclosed garden is very useful for small children. We couldn't wish for anything more!

What a lovely stay at this house in Ribe. Complements for this superhost!

Very nice, completely renovated, house with all the modern comfort in the center of the lovely old town Ribe. Fresh flowers, a bottle of wine, warm temperature, a lot of relevant information, very nice decoration, and a lot of grocery stuff already there, it all made our stay really feel like 'coming home'. Our contact with Landlord Bente was very useful

Mig og mine venner var kun i Ribe by i 3dage. Behøvede ikke andet denne omgang.

Der hører ikke morgenmad til. Men ok da køkken faciliteterne var super med alt moderne køkkengrej og maskiner. Hele huset er tip top indvendigt med pæne møbler og et B&O TV. Gårdhaven er et eventyr i sig selv,med udsigt til Domkirke tårnet. Vi blev glade i 'låget ' nød roen og stilheden. I hele Ribe by. Smuk og eventyragtig. Tak for den skønne oplevelse

Geweldig, compleet huis.

De locatie was een 10, midden in het centrum van Ribe. Mooi uitgangspunt voor het stadje zelf. Helaas kan de auto niet bij het huis neergezet worden en moet je daarvoor ongeveer 10 min lopen. Het stadje is wel klein maar prachtig. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien en goed qua comfort. Helaas was het er erg warm waardoor het nachts ook warm was met slapen. Airco is er niet. Maar ik zou het zeker weer boeken. Erg mooi en compleet huis.

Helaas geen airco dus boven is het met warme dagen erg warm. En geen parkeerplaats voor de deur (rekening mee houden met slecht lopende mensen).

Tolles Ferienhaus zum Wohlfühlen, der Aufenthalt war einfach Hygge!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem Ferienhaus! Das Haus war sehr sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und bestens ausgestattet – es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Lage war ruhig und perfekt zum Entspannen, gleichzeitig aber auch ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Besonders gefallen haben uns der schöne Garten und die großzügige Terrasse. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können das Haus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Et super hus lige i hjertet af Ribe. Udvendigt matchende de gamle huse i bymidten, indvendigt flot nyrenoveret og alt I tip top stand. Dejlig gårdhave med sol og læ og udsigt til Domkirken.

Det var hyggeligt og super flot renoveret. God plads og et meget fint køkken. Haven var lige det ekstra og meget hyggelig.

Vi havde ikke noget at udsætte på stedet. Alt var rigtig godt. Det var dog lidt skørt at sidste værelse lå på den anden side af toilettet.

Dit is echt een geweldig verblijf in Ribe!

De sfeer van het huis is geweldig, we voelden ons meteen thuis! Het is prachtig gerestaureerd, alles wat in huis staat is met zorg uitgezocht, dat merk je aan alles en is voldoende voor 6 personen (wij waren met 4en). Alles wat je maar nodig hebt (en meer) is aanwezig in bijvoorbeeld de keuken en badkamer, her huis was heel erg schoon, er lag een map met alle info over het huis, Ribe en omgeving,, er is een gezellige tuin met privacy en het ligt midden in het centrum van Ribe tussen de locals... een heel gezellig plaatsje en een fijne uitvalsbasis voor de omgeving. Wij hopen nog een keer terug te komen!

Dejligt hus i Ribe - perfekt til en familietur

Et rigtigt Ribe byhus centralt placeret med alt hvad hjertet kan begære. Huset er nyrenoveret og helt perfekt til vores familie med voksne børn og deres kærester. Stort køkken med alt i forbindelse med stue - nyt badeværelse og dejlig gårdmiljø som vi desværre ikke kunne nyde her i februar. Vi kommer gerne tilbage.

Smukt hus fyldt med charme.

Det er utrolig hyggeligt og flot restaureret, man kan kun føle sig godt tilpas i dette hus. Rengøring i top, meget veludstyret i køkken og bad mm. Derudover er der en smuk gårdhave, der bare indbyder til hyggestunder. Beliggenhed i top. Vi kommer meget gerne igen.

Det skønneste hus - der manglede ingenting. Flot rent. Vi følte os virkeligt velkommen. Gode senge. Beliggenhed kunne ikke være bedre. Alt i køkkenet vi kunne ønske os. Talte også med ejer, som var sød og rar og meget venlig. Må sige vi alle 4 var MEGET begejstret. Huset istandsat med respekt for alder og så alligevel meget moderne. Vi kan bestemt anbefale andre at booke huset.
