The distance to the mainland is approx. 11 km, of which about 6 km lead through the mudflats. Please inform yourself about low and high tide. You can swim west of the storm surge column. Explore Mandö, which is part of the Wadden Sea National Park and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and visit the island's beautiful, historic mill.
