Welcome to Chatham Bookends (Main House) and Pencil Me Inn (Guest Cottage) tucked away just steps from Chatham Village. Leave your car keys and worries behind as you take a casual stroll to your morning coffee shops, gourmet deli sandwiches at Chatham Cookware or wine and cheese evenings at the Chatham Bars Inn overlooking the National Seashore. Enjoy the amazing beaches, the fabulous restaurants and the numerous shopping options that satisfy all ages.
This dream location has something for everyone, whether you prefer the lazy summertime temperatures with Cape Cod League Baseball, the nearby bike paths or a round of golf, the autumn breezes and fiery fall sunsets, or being nestled in for the cozy winter holidays highlighted by Chatham's famous Christmas Stroll and First Night activities! This 1928 historic home has been updated, has central AC, is well appointed and is beautifully decorated. Enjoy the walkout family room to our spacious private patio and grassy yard. The two combined buildings offer 3 bedrooms/2 baths and sleeps 8 comfortably. The property is just 150 steps to the back of the Chatham Squire. The main house has a wonderful front porch to enjoy after a day in town or at the beach. The living room is so inviting with updated comfortable furnishings and the kitchen is updated with quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances.
There are two bedrooms in the Main House on the second floor one with a queen and the other has a queen and a twin trundle bed. Look out the door and there is the adorable one bedroom Guest House that everyone will want to call their own. This cottage underwent a complete interior renovation creating outstanding guest quarters. It offers a queen size bed, cozy living space and updated bath with a 65" television. Both houses are included in this charming rental.
The property offers central air conditioning, high-speed WiFi, roku televisions with streaming services, renovated bathrooms, new gas grill, storage bin with beach chairs and beach umbrella and enclosed outdoor shower. Two sets of golf clubs are available at the property for your use.

Upon cancellation for ANY reason, money will be refunded less a 20% service fee of the total rental amount due, ONLY if the property is re-rented for the same terms and conditions of the original Agreement. Tenant further acknowledges and agrees that where Kinlin Grover Compass undertakes to re-let the property, the rental fee to be charged to the substitute tenant shall be in an amount to be determined in the reasonable discretion of Kinlin Grover Compass and Owner. Tenant agrees that any cancellation of the reservation, undertaken at any time, shall not be effective unless in writing and delivered to Kinlin Grover Compass.

Wonderful stay! Stayed in the main house with the in laws in the guest cottage. Very cute property, clean house, couldn’t be closer to town. Will return next year.

Lovely house and guest house convenient to town. We loved the well furnished and clean separate houses. We slept in the guest house and my daughter and son in law with infant slept in the main house since they are early risers. Large comfortable backyard with outdoor furniture was a real plus and used every evening. Just a heads up about the location that really didn't affect us since we had an infant. It is on a street with traffic, no front yard, just a porch. We are looking forward to our next visit.
