About this house rental
This spacious Uptown New Orleans home features an area with a bedroom containing a queen-sized bed and a queen-sized Murphy bed in the main room. The space has all the amenities required for a comfortable stay. It is the lower level of our raised basement house located on beautiful Fontainebleau Drive. It is very centrally located and is 5 blocks from the streetcar line that runs down St. Charles Avenue and into the French Quarter. It is a safe, quiet neighborhood with plenty of parking. It is within walking distance of Tulane University and several restaurants and bars.

My son and I had a great time staying with Tom and Jenny. The accommodations were air conditioned, clean and had enough separate spaces for the two of us. I took the Murphy bed and main bathroom. My son slept in the bedroom with the 1/2 bath. The space had a full kitchen with a coffee maker. It was close to shopping, restaurants and our family members. We would definitely stay there again!

Location and host were absolutely wonderful. Place was very dated and not very clean. Water was not very hot, no stove just a cook top. It was only in the 70s and very warm, not able to control the temp, no a/c or screens on windows.
