About this chalet rental
Our chalet for 6 people is located in the holiday residence Le Village du Soleil in Mauroux in the Lot (In the vineyards of Cahors, close to Puy L'évêque, Tournon d'Agenais and Fumel)
With a surface area of + 60 m2, it is composed of a living room with living room (sofas, TV, library and board games, dining area and equipped kitchen (microwave grill oven, induction hob, fridge, dishwasher, kettle, food processor, toaster and coffee maker) opening onto a terrace where part is covered where you can have lunch, dinner, relax... A barbecue is also available.
It then includes a separate toilet, a bathroom with bathtub and heated towel rail, three bedrooms, one with bunk beds and two with twin beds of 90x190 as well as plenty of storage space. The master bedroom includes a desk and a sink.
We leave games for children, board games, books... as well as for the outdoors (rackets, ball...) and 1 bicycle.
It has a WIFI connection, a TV, a screen to connect a games console and a washing machine. The living room is equipped with reversible air conditioning which tempers the whole chalet thanks to the ceiling fans in the bedrooms.
It is surrounded by a private but unfenced area as well as a parking space.
Our dog friends are welcome but with the agreement of the owner (they must be kept on a leash in the residence, clean and vaccinated).
Possibility of baby equipment as well as sheets, towels and household linen at an additional cost.
We do not have a socket to charge an electric vehicle but terminals are available less than 10 minutes away.
The holiday village has 58 chalets and is located in the middle of nature in a valley 1 km from Mauroux 46700 (Lot) and 10 km from Fumel 475005 (shopping malls), 15 km from Puy L'évêque, in the vineyards of Cahors and close to many sites to discover Prayssac, the castle of Bonaguil, St Cirq Lapopie, Montcuq, Cahors, the Lot and the Dordogne... where you can stroll, fish or discover local products in the surrounding markets.
It offers a fenced swimming pool heated from 15/06 to 15/09, a petanque court, a tennis court, a playground (trampoline, volleyball, zip line, table tennis, swings, etc.) with free access and less than 100m from your rental.
There is also a snack bar operating in July and August.

Le chalet, la literie, l'équipement, le complexe ainsi que les animations proposées aux enfants étaient parfait. Nous avons quitté cet endroit avec un pincement au cœur. Merci Philippe pour votre chaleureux accueil.

Une quarantaine de chalets dans une résidence très arborée et spatieuse, avec jeux pour les enfants, piscine et petite restauration. Chaque chalet a son intimité et on a l'impression d'être beaucoup moins nombreux. Le chalet est très confortable.
Une seule remarque : les propriétaires doivent éclaircir avec l'organisme les chalets du soleil (=nom de la résidence) si leurs locataires peuvent bénéficier ou non de certaines des prestations (activités type centre aéré pour les enfants) fournies par la residence. Il nous a été dit que ce n’était pas possible pour nous du fait d’une cotisation que nos propriétaires n’avaient pas payé. Cela doit être précisé en amont pour ne pas générer de confusion à l’arrivée. Cela ne nous a pas empêché de passer un excellent séjour (Nous n’étions pas venus pour ces activités).
