About this cottage rental

Our holiday gite is situated at 4.5 km from the bastide town of Villefranche du Périgord,in the heart of the Périgord,on the border of the Dordogne and the Lot.
La maison des Parrots offers every luxury and total privacy with superb views of an unspoilt countryside. The cottage,well decorated and furnished in french style is a charming renovated barn,not overlooked,set in two acres of land,tranquil garden with large trees for shade and a terasse for meals. We had a quiet and relaxing stay. Beautifully set out and wonderfully constructed building which tells a story of the history of the building while being functional. Well appointed rooms and amenities. 10 min drive to local town for our daily croissants.Thank you for thos little touches that made it even more amazing

We spent 10 days here after a conference in Bordeaux. The location was great and allowed us access to all the places we wanted to see and markets we wanted to go to. Thierry and Cindy were very hospitable and had great local ķnowledge and advice on what to do and where to go. The gite had everything we needed and was set off the road in a nice private section which was very kid friendly including the house. Next time we will come back here and bring the kids. Thanks C and THelen and Geoff Orbell
