Borgo San Pietro in Polvano (Canonica)

What we loved most was the house itself—it felt like staying in our own castle. There was plenty of space for our entire family to spread out comfortably, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. The peaceful setting made it a wonderful place to relax after exploring many of the surrounding Tuscan towns. Laura was an incredible host—always responsive, accommodating, and engaged in making sure we had everything we needed, with great recommendations and helpful information throughout our stay.

The only minor issue was the air conditioning units. They could use an upgrade, as they were a bit noisy. Since we visited during the hot summer and needed to run them overnight, the noise was noticeable. Other than that, we had a great stay.

From the moment we arrived, we knew this place was special. The views from pool and outdoor areas are absolutely breathtaking — Tuscany scenery and total peace and quiet. The villa itself is beautifully designed and has everything you could possibly need. We loved how every detail felt thoughtful, from the comfortable beds to the charming outdoor spaces where we spent hours just soaking in the scenery. The bedrooms are spacious with private bathrooms and everything feels fresh and well cared for. Everything was spotless, well-equipped, and comfortable. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was Laura. She is one of the kindest and most genuine hosts— always ready to help, and full of great local tips. You can really feel how much heart she puts into making her guests feel welcome. If you’re looking for beauty, peace, and true Tuscan hospitality — this is the place. We left feeling completely relaxed and already dreaming of coming back. Thank you, Laura, for your warmth, care, and all the little touches that made this trip so special.
