Villa Kumi

Toto ubytování jsme vybrali na základě fantastického hodnocení zde, nyní mám podezření, že hodnocení dělají italští přátelé majitele , realita je trochu jiná. V den příjezdu jsme měli potřebu jít spát dříve, ale tradičně vypadl proud a ten šok, že generátor, který byl mega hlučný a smrdící naftou byl tři metry vedle našeho pokoje, měli jsme štěstí , že pokoje byly volné, tak nám ho na požádání vyměnili, za to děkujeme. Při výpadku proudu, což je každý večer , nemůžete použít klimatizaci ani sprchu, takže generátor na nic. Při výpadku chodila služba k nám do pokoje vypínat asi bojler, takže méně soukromí . Každý den jsme měli uklizeno, v rámci možností, protože zařízení je hodně zastaralé. Navštívili jsme za tři roky 6 ubytování zde na Zanzi a když udělám srovnání, bohužel toto bylo nejhorší na snídaně ,za tolik dní ani jednou ovocný džus, pouze káva, čaj , voda, miska ovoce a kousek něceho. Až čtvrtý den mi obsluha oznámila, že presso , které mi nabídli musím na konci pobytu zaplatit. Šok byl , když mi vyúčtování za kávu přinesli poslední noc ve 3 hodiny ráno, zaklepali a vzbudili nás, abychom zaplatili, měli jsme odjíždět v 5 ráno, dosud nechápu , proč nás vzbudili kvůli účtu už ve 3. Jediné co mi dělalo velkou radost byl pes Piero ❤️

Electricity goes quite a lot on the island. The accommodation has a generator but when it's on, AC and hot water cannot be used. Wifi was also a little unreliable.

The staff were exceptional. On one occasion, we went quad biking and returned covered in dirt. One of the staff members—sadly, I can’t remember her name—kindly washed our dirty trainers for us. I was genuinely surprised by her thoughtfulness; it was an incredibly kind gesture. The dog at the property was very calm and well-behaved. I’m usually afraid of dogs, but I was comfortable around him. That said, it might be helpful going forward to inform guests in advance that there is a live-in dog at the property, in case anyone is apprehensive about being around dogs.

The breakfast could have been better, as the selection was quite limited. The hotel does have a generator that operates during power cuts; however, we were asked to turn off the air conditioning when the power was out. We assumed this was to help reduce costs for the property, but the reason wasn’t clearly explained, so we were left a bit unsure.

We loved our stay at Villa Kumi! This place is just what I like! It’s a small unassuming guest house / hotel that feels very personal and private and has a special feel. It Almost felt we had the place to ourselves at points! It was quiet and the location is excellent. The staff are very welcoming and full of smiles and friendly. The room was well equipped and the little touches each day to clean and tidy were much appreciated. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and we all especially loved Pierro the dog ! Our only feedback would be some sauces for the eggs and sausage at breakfast!! Hot sauce 😆
