Quiet countryside shared house

This is basically a small hostel, which we didn't realise when we booked. We had a small double room with a shared bathroom. There is another bedroom, and it was also occupied while we were there, so we were a bit surprised when we arrived, and realised we were sharing the house with another couple, as that was not what we were expecting. However, that's on us for not reading the fine print when we booked. There was no internet (clearly stated on Booking.com, but again, we didn't check beforehand). The host, Yannick, met us when we arrived, and made it clear we were to make ourselves at home. The kitchen is plentifully stocked with all sorts of food and drink that we were allowed to use. Yannick even got eggs for me as I am GF and he had no other GF food on hand, which was very kind of him. If you realise this is a shared house out in the countryside with limited amenities (no microwave) it is a fine place to stay for a night.

The instructions for finding the house were not as clear as they could have been and we ended up somewhere 20 km away before we finally found the right place. Also, Yannick forgot to give us a key, so we had to wake up the couple in the other room to let us out early in the morning!

Great place to stay!

We stopped on the way to Lyon from Paris at Yannick's chalet. The chalet is very well located in a beautiful and quiet area. Yannick is a very welcoming host, the room was spacious and comfy with access to the kitchen and bathroom. I would definitely go back there to explore the Morvan region!

simple, clean and quiet room for a good rate.

The chalet is located in a very quiet area. It's a very quiet place (during day or night). Yannick, your host will do anything to make your stay comfortable. Upon arrival we were offered beer or juice. He suggested to cook for us or to fetch some stuff we might need. You live together with him in the chalet. You have no privacy, only in your bedroom. But this is the charme of such a place. He likes to have a chat and is a very kind person. If you're looking for a quiet, simple place to sleep with a host that is very helpfull and kind, don't look further.

Un chalet pour se ressourcer en pleine nature

Woaw .. magique .. perdu au milieu de la montagne et de la forêt, ce chalet est juste incroyable L accueil du propriétaire et sa disponibilité sont au top .. et tout se trouve dans le gîte.. on y reviendra.. juste une chose ... si pendant la période hivernale, ayez des pneus hiver avant de réserver ..

Soggiorno semplicemente fantastico

L' appartamento era dotato di tutto.. Appena siamo arrivati abbiamo trovato in frigo champagne, birre, succhi di frutta che il proprietario ci ha donato come benvenuto. La colazione era abbondantissima l' abbiamo potuta assaporare sui tavolini dello chalet che gode di una vista bellissima

Mémorable

Louis et sa compagne nous ont accueilli comme des rois. Au milieu du parc du Morvan, ce lieu paisible et magnifique nous a permis de recharger les batteries (et de contempler la nuit étoilée) avant de repartir de plus belle. Tout est fourni, tout est propre, la literie est parfaite, des coloriages et balançoires pour notre fille. Merci pour cette belle rencontre (humaine et du territoire du Morvan). Vivement recommandé !!!

Un havre de paix parfait ! Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Nous avons passé une nuit merveilleuse dans le chalet de Yannick. Un véritable cocon de calme et de sérénité, parfait pour se ressourcer. On y dort extrêmement bien, le lieu est paisible et chaleureux. Tout était prévu pour nous accueillir dans les meilleures conditions, même les boissons fraîches nous attendaient à notre arrivée ! Une attention rare qui fait toute la différence. Merci Yanick pour ce logement aussi accueillant qu'impeccable.

Chalet confortable au cœur du parc naturel du Morvan

Chalet très agréable, super accueil de Yannick et France. Frigo rempli et choix sympathique pour le petit déjeuner. Hamac, BBQ, mobilier extérieur, jeux, instruments de musique ... La maison du parc naturel du Morvan et le musée de la résistance sur la commune de St Brisson sont à visiter. Merci beaucoup !

het was er mooi landschap en rustig,

ik had die trap niet verwacht want was een beetje slecht te been. AAN TE RADEN BIJ JONGERE MENSEN OP DOORREIS. het onbijt was redelijk maar mag ik u aanraden niet met potten choco,confituur te werken dat vindt onhygenis, met kleine potjes voor per persoon; voor dçe zo voort,wens je nog veel geluk. DU "VERT" en barre !

Chalet très bien situé, avec St Brisson, à moins de 1 km, un mignon petit village. Au pied du chalet, possibilité de faire de belles ballades et randos, vélos. Extrêmement calme sans vis à vis quelques vaches vous tiennent compagnie dans le champ d'à côté. Vue dégagé et petite terrasse super sympa pour le p'tit dej ou repas. Un agréable pré qui entoure la maison, invite au farniente ou a une petite activité sportive. Très zen, Yannick vous met tout de suite à l'aise et vous fait sentir comme chez vous 😊
