A spacious flat with a nice view and fast WIFI, but not exactly the place to work remotely.

I booked this place to work remotely. So most of my impressions are flavoured by this. The main room is big, huge, exactly as I want it. Big fridge, nice kitchen, nice view, nice big balcony. Everything is exactly as the pictures in booking. What I really liked, was the WiFi - good, stable connection, it's a modem over a phone line, with respectable speed of 50/5 mbit, if you are using the 5Ghz band of the wifi router. The apartment is quiet, if you close all the windows (except the stairway). The place is at the center of the village, there is a supermarket across the street. The area in the village and around it is nice for biking. We had a very nice welcoming experience, by our kind host Sofia, who had taken care to put some water and sweet things in the fridge. Thanks!

Well, just minor things, if you travel for vacation. - the shower head holder is put at absolutely useless position. It's easy and cheap to add another one where it should be. - there's some smell from the bathroom and a slight one in the whole apartment - all the chairs and beds make very unpleasant creaking noises when you move them or use them in any way. Some rubber on the legs will fix it. - the fridge was tilting freely in two directions, I had to put some paper under one of the legs to make it stable And major problems, if you are there to work: - there's some noise from the neighbours upstairs, who have some child, stepping hard on the floor, making loud booming noises, sometimes even until midnight. - the door is not soundproof and when noisy people use the stairway (the same noisy neighbours), it hits you like a train after the usual silence. - the key for the door is coupled with plastic card-key for the AC, it's a usual fire protection thing, but here it was absolutely annoying: if you use the key even for 5 seconds, to lock or unlock the door, all the AC power goes down immediately, without the usual delay of 1 minute. If it is in the night, it becomes pitch black and you can't find the key-lock of the door. But what was really freaking, the Internet stops and then comes back after ... 5 minutes!!! This router takes its time to connect to the provider and this is hell slow. So your laptop is disconnected, VPN is disconnected, all your workspace and data-work is lost, just because you used the key for 5 seconds to unlock the door. Very disturbing. And guess what - you cannot decouple the key and the plastic AC card, because, well, they are welded. So, to ensure that this router has power even when the AC is down, I had to be very creative and I succeeded.

Very good

Communication with the owner is very prompt and good. The owners are very friendly and willing to help at any time. They can provide help and support when needed and asked for. We were welcomed with some water and fruit, which was a very nice touch on a torrid summer day.

More furniture (hangers in the bathroom, an ironing table, a cupboard in the living room, etc.). As the place is under a rental kind of approach, one is required to do all the job in the house (cleaning, buying everything including rubbish bin bags, toilet paper, etc.).
