It's a beautiful set up ,not too many Villa, gives a lot of privacy to enjoy the beauty of Ubud

Unbelievable staff,! Very very friendly, especially the receptionist, unfortunately one of them Gita had a motorbike accident after our second day stay, she was the one who welcome us at the Villa, we didn't have opportunity to meet up wth her again. Wish her speedy recovery. I like the private pool that gives us privacy to enjoy. It's a beautiful set up. Unfortunately it's slightly off the main street of Ubud. Overall it's a nice hideaway from busy Ubud.

Poka exceeded my expectations - the staff were so friendly and went above and beyond to accomdate us whether that be booking takings for us, helping plan day trips or sorting breakfast for us. I had a Spa treatment pretty much every day which is some of the best massages I have had. It really was a relaxing paradise. We didn’t rent mopeds but you can through the hotel so we had a driver which the hotel arranged (Ketat Cawa) who was lovely and dropped us off where we needed to go (around 200,000 IDR a trip). When there is no traffic you are 15 mins from UBUD palace but far out to feel like home. Not much around the outside of the villa so would say even eat out or bring food supplies back to hotel for snacks but they have an onsite restaurant. Also over the next years more resorts are being built so there will be more restaurants opening. The villa its self was great, we had our pool Delcorate with flowers in on arrival so felt really special and it was great size for the money spent. Would highly recommend

Everything was perfect. Absolutely zero complaint. Staff were so so lovely. Accommodation was not too far away from the centre of Ubud. The price you pay and what you get… can’t find another place like This. Quiet and peaceful. 100% recommend!

Relaxed stay at Poka Ubud!

Loved the calmness and location - in the middle of a village probably. Got a private pool all to ourselves! Food, though not much options, was still less pricey and tasted good. Staff was very accommodating, catering to all our small requests.

Had to ensure doors are closed in the evening as there were insects flying around, but that's expected at such locations.

Absolutely Beautiful 🌺

I loved the size of the villa’s here. The grounds are beautiful and the lovely staff add to the energy of the entire place. The food is so good, especially the fruit/healthy bowls @ breakfast. The pool is a great size - I was able to swim every morning & just to add - the jungle view villa is breathtaking! Staff are amazing and accommodating and made me feel so welcome and looked after. I can’t wait to go back.

A genuinely welcoming stay that feels like home, with great comfort and a peaceful location just outside the main town.

The moment you walk in, you feel like part of the family. The team is warm, welcoming, and nothing is ever too much trouble. The location is a little out of town, but the cheap Grab rides make it easy and it’s nice to be away from the busy areas. Breakfast feels homely, the pool is refreshing and private, the bed is comfortable, and the room stays nice and dark for sleeping.

The aircon struggled to cool the room, although it did help with easing into the humidity.

Wonderful Stay at Poka Villa Ubud

We had a beautiful stay at Poka Villa in Ubud. The villa is spacious, clean, and perfectly designed for anyone looking to relax and disconnect. The private pool was exceptional — peaceful, well-maintained, and the highlight of our stay. We spent hours enjoying the calm atmosphere around it. The location is also a big advantage: quiet, surrounded by nature, and away from the noise of central Ubud, yet still close enough to reach restaurants and attractions easily. The staff were friendly and helpful, and everything was smooth from check-in to check-out. Overall, Poka Villa is an excellent choice if you want comfort, privacy, and true tranquility in Ubud. We would definitely come back.

Perfect

Really nice place to stay and un-wind and relax. It was the first place we stayed when we arrived in Bali and after traveling for more than 30hrs they allow us to check-in early which was really appreciated.

There were a few things that could be improved in the bathroom, the two sinks didn't drain properly and the way the hot water for showers goes by really fast.

We spent our honeymoon in Bali at this hotel, and it was the best and coziest hotel 😍 There were rice fields next to the hotel, and we walked there. It was very authentic and cool. Regarding the hotel, we liked that the water in the pool was very clean, unfortunately not every hotel we stayed at in Bali was like that. The staff were polite and helpful, even at 5 a.m., and always responded to us immediately. Special thanks to Krisna, Sintya, and Mang Adi! When we come to Bali next time, we will definitely stay there, and I will recommend this hotel to all my friends 🥹❤️❤️❤️

Ok, but could be better

Nice athmospere, good location. During the day and evenings are realy calm.

Prayers in the morning at 6am, rice fields burning( it smells realy bad), poor breakfast( could be more fruits and fresh juices for the price we are paying. Poor wifi. Also on booking they advertise that your view will be on rice fields or nature but actually you are looking into the wall!

Will not stay again for the service and price

We liked the villa and the size of the room was good with a separate wardrobe and a decent bathroom. It came with a private pool which we enjoyed once, as there was no privacy...

We don't usually post bad reviews, but this stay was extremely disappointing for us. We had booked this hotel 10 months before our stay for our honeymoon, and safe to say we were more than disappointed. The first issue upon check in was the continued lack of emotional awareness of the staff. We had just travelled far, and were just wanting to check in and get ourselves sorted, and it felt like they just kept trying to sell us add ons. This continued throughout our stay in every interaction, they tried to get us to sign up for various activities, use their hotel driver, and also they additional trekking and tourist activities, which we didn't want. We are independent travellers and I'm indo & I know my way around Bali (not our first time on the island). On a number of occasions we clearly were just in a rush leaving the villa for dinner or for an event, waiting for our driver & the staff ran after us out of the door to ask us mundane questions such as if we needed to use their taxi service, or if we were staying for breakfast the next day. We were also extremely disappointed by the room. As mentioned, we booked 10 months in advance, based on the photos online-villas with a stunning rice terrace view. We received a villa with a view of an outdoor kitchenette and a backdrop of construction and workers, which wasn't told to us prior to our check in or our stay. If we knew this, we would have rebooked or found another hotel. For the price of this hotel, we also were disappointed in the cleanliness of the room. Green mold in the shower, mold and water in the bath, and a written piece of paper in the villa, apologizing for the construction (after we had already paid and checked in). The breakfast was also extortionate with 5 similar items on the menu.

Nice little villa with private pool. Decent massages available. Rooms are spacious.

A little dated, could do with some maintenance. The breakfast was terrible. We only had it once. But we never intended on having breakfast anyway so it did not ruin our trip. Location is very far from centre by Ubud standards, considering the traffic. Only the rice terraces are nearby, basically having yo take a taxi every time, which was not ideal. But overall we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful place to start our honeymoon

It's a beautiful location with a really private feeling. Looking out of the window from the bed and bathroom it's a really jungle view with tropical plants and a jungle view. The staff is also great at helping with any request like laundry or booking a private massage, and had great suggestions for places to visit. They were really responsive before our stay via Whatsapp. The breakfast was also very tasty and delivered to the villa every morning. We also were surprised with a nice happy honeymoon message on arrival

Unfortunately the water pressure for the shower and sink wasn't the best. This is of course not a deal breaker and the water temperature was great. Due to it's location and surroundings, you have to be careful with open doors or you'll get some visitors like ants. They do have a mosquito net over the bed to keep you safe.

Disappointed

The hotel is nice, and it has good facilities.

So many mistakes during our stay. We went to our honey moon to spend a perfect moment but the hotel was under construction. The view of the pool is not what appears in pictures. They were constructing in the room next to ours and there were noise, lot of people working, lot of construction material at the front and there was a guy working on the roof that could see us in our room. The hotel should be closed when they are constructing. Then a chair was broken, the air conditioning didnt work well, the lady in the front desk was desperate to sell tours and transportation. She offered a tour that cost x3 the cost of other tours in the center. DONT follow her recommendations. Very disappointed about this place

Lovely villa for gate away

Everything was perfect. Super clean, super comfy; staff super friendly and supportive.

There is the thing with the construction in front is some villas, but the one I got recently got a new wall/ little outdoor space built, so it would cover the construction view and give the villa more privacy, which it mostly did. (I also was there for Nyepi, so no one was there). At night there’s little illumination in the room, not bad for the time tho.
