Villa Siroco by Villa Plus

Very clean and has everything you need. Having a bathroom per bedroom is brilliant! Close to great bars, restaurants and shops.

Villa was in a great location. Cleaners came halfway through stay to change towels. The pool area was nice and spacious. It was good each bedroom having its own bathroom.

There were a lot of ants, especially in the kitchen, as soon as we showed up and couldn’t get rid of them all week, meant you couldn’t keep things out on surfaces or shoes on the living room floor would get covered in ants. Rest of villa was moderately clean, the bathrooms could’ve used a bit of a scrub but not too bad. The water pressure and temperature was quite temperamental when more than one person showered at the same time. Beds were sadly really uncomfortable and lumpy.

The short walk to the strip and the beach and a really nice pool en dining area. really nice host who always helps out if there is an problem

some shower were not totally cleaned but were they were poorly cleaned but that wasn’t that of a big deal

Each room had a private bathroom which was very nice and convenient. The pool was very large with different water heights. The house was equipped with an alarm which is reassuring when you leave the house. On the other hand, the center of Albufeira is a bit far (30 minutes walking) and the nearest supermarket (Aldi) is 15 minutes walking.

We noticed that on several occasions (at least 3 that we are aware of), people from the Villa Plus staff came into the house without warning us or ringing the bell before entering. There were 8 of us girls in the house and to have people come into the house without warning was extremely confusing. One day at the time we were taking our showers, the owners came into the house without ringing the bell and were extremely rude to us. On two occasions, when we were out of the house, people came into the house without informing us or asking. We noticed this because a girl was left alone in the house and heard someone enter the property to do repairs (?) in the pool... We were also very surprised when Villa Plus contacted us 48 hours before we arrived to ask for a 800 euro deposit. This had not been stipulated in the contract but in a clause that we were not informed of beforehand. To collect this amount in such a short time was very complicated for us, in addition to the fact that they threatened to cancel our reservation if the amount was not sent within 24 hours ....
