Borgo Medievale

Great location in the old town of Castelmola. Great view of Mt Etna from our balcony. Nice room with everything you need. We didn't actually meet any staff, but self check-in was easy and communication was good.

The 'included' breakfast was a voucher at a local cafe - nice but only basic (one hot drink and croissant each). It wasn't an issue for us, but note that you can't drive to the apartment. You need to park outside the town and walk about 350m through the narrow streets.

Everything was excellent! The property was spotless, very comfortable, and located in a perfect place with amazing views. The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and always willing to help with anything we needed. We truly felt welcome throughout our stay. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.

Nothing. Everything exceeded our expectations

The village is extremely unique right at the top of a very tall rocky mountain. Vibrant dining scene somewhat expensive. The views from some village areas were breathtaking and so was the drive up the narrow winding road.

Many of the features offered did not exist. No balcony and only a view of a wall from our room. Directions rather vague and video suppled stopped short. Parking is council carpark with a non functioning pay station (so had to risk parking fine) and we never got Easypark the app to work on our phones. Also carpark well down the hill so a long hard haul up steep steps and we had very little luggage luckily. Breakfast was very disappointing just a 1 croissant and 1 cup of tea/coffee not what I consider a GOOD breakfast. Staff non existent. Just instruction by WhatsApp.

Good location in the centre of Castelmola

Suite was meant to have balcony, we only had doors that opened on to alley way and looked out over roof tops. We expected at least a small balcony with chairs. Paper thin walls which was quite embarrassing at night !! Let’s just say you get to know the neighbours well. Shower was probably the smallest one I have ever used, I don’t know how any tall or large person would manage. Cooking area seemed a bit pointless would be better to knock through and increase size of bathroom and make it something spectacular.
