We stayed here as a family of 5. The apartment is great, it’s in the Trastevere area, which has plenty of great restaurants and places to eat and snack, and perfectly situated for all the major must-sees - within a 30 minute walk to the colosseum and Vatican City, for example. The apartment is spacious, clean and secure, and was well set up for us: my wife and I had a bedroom on the upper floor, our twin boys shared a bedroom, and our daughter had a room to herself. The kitchen is well equipped, good size fridge and freezer, great oven and hob, and even a dishwasher and washing machine. We bought food from a local supermarket (7 minute walk) and cooked a couple of simple meals at the apartment. The communication from the team was excellent, which really made a difference to our stay. They were able to respond quickly to my questions and were always happy to help. We had a small problem that was dealt with quickly and as a matter of priority- I felt like the team cared about our stay.Would highly recommend.

Book this immediately! Great space, AC (huge bonus for our August stay), close to endless cafes, restaurants, shops. Walking distance to most attractions. Rest communication with host. No complaints!

The location of the apartment was great. It was very easy to walk to everything, and there were lots of options for restaurants within Trestavere. The neighborhood was definitely vibrant, especially in the evenings. The apartment itself had very basic amenities. Beds were just average but the pillows were very uncomfortable. The cleanliness of the apartment could use work. There was lots of dust on tables and windows, obvious no one had stayed or cleaned there for a while prior to us getting there. The walls had lots of dirt marks and scuffs everywhere. The bathroom shower upstairs is really small, and there was no window in the upstairs bedroom. The AC upstairs did not work either. The downstairs bathroom looks different than in the photos. It does not have a bathtub as advertised, instead has a small shower which did not drain properly. The hot water runs out quickly, so for a family of five, we had to time our showers so we didn't run out. I think with some maintenance, this could be a very nice apartment. For now it needs some work before we'd return again.
