The apartment was easy to find and enter following clear instructions we’d been sent. The apartment was a good size and it was lovely having the small outdoor courtyard where we could eat, drink or just chill. The road outside was a fairly busy narrow street but we couldn’t hear the street noise in the apartment as it was set back off an inner courtyard that you couldn’t see from the street as behind a thick wooden door. Nice comfy bed and hot shower. Well equipped kitchen for self-catering but we bought some wine, beer & an evening pizza from the family-run pizza shop that was very close by and just chilled in the courtyard. Many popular tourist streets within easy walking distance for sight-seeing, shopping or eating in one of the many restaurants, cafes and/or street food stalls selling so lots of options for trying local speciality food. We only had 1 night in Palermo but managed to visit many of the sights nearby and we love just wondering the smaller streets to soak up the lovely Sicilian atmosphere and Palermo culture. It’s a great property to stay in when visiting Palermo. Super price for a city stay. We highly recommend it!

There's a nice cozy garden and the tuff bricks on the property look minimalist and pretty although it's a very small apartment but in the heart of the city.

The location. The apartment is in a complex of very run down apartments, looking like social houses and the people in the area were screaming or talking out loud during the day. Also, the gas detector alarm goes on if you spray deodorants or perfumes, and we couldn't stop it going off, so we had to switch it off from the switchboard as the owner after this episode informed us that the gas detector is really sensitive to deodorants or perfumes. We found a few people in front of the door wondering where the noise of the alarm was coming from.
