Host & Stay - Seaside Apartments

Excellent position right in the middle of all the bars, cafes and restaurants but only 5 - 10 minutes from the beach! Nice spacious apartments with pretty much everything you need and if you didn’t have it, contact with the host got an immediate response!

I don’t think the cleaners are very thorough. Bathroom not very clean. Having a small bath on legs for a shower is not a good idea! Difficult for some people to get into. Ridiculously small bathroom sink (meant for small toilets) with a shelf over it, meaning that you can’t actually wash or clean teeth without water going all over the floor. Like so many of these places, insufficient places to hang towels. One small towel rail isn’t enough for two bath sheets and two hand towels. The hall and steps leading to the apartments smells like an old people’s home, I’m afraid.

Fabulous location. The accommodation had everything you would want for a short stay. Street parking worked well and was free. Close to lots of food places and a supermarket.

crockery wasnt in the best condition with chips..didnt effect use . Dont be put off by the hall way up to the accommodation was dark and didnt smell great but once in the apartments - they were fab. Wouldn't put us off staying again.

The location is handy close to all amenities. The living room was bright and airy The main bedroom was bright and the adults that slept in that bed said it was quite comfy

The entrance is very dark and smells horrible. The smell is so strong and unpleasant. I appreciate it’s a shared hallway and it’s not the hallway you’re staying in ( we have stayed in many places with shared hallways often needing tlc ) but the smell was awful ! Although it is easy to park and close to amenities it’s very noisy even late into the night. The single beds are extremely small for adults another double in that room would have been preferable. The sink in the bathroom is very very small it’s difficult to wash without getting water everywhere or banging your head on shelf above. The bath is very high sided and the shower screen doesn’t move backwards and forwards very far so it makes it difficult to get in and out easily or safely. The kitchen isn’t well equipped, very poor . No oven gloves, no handle for grill pan , no baking trays . ….. The pans were dirty in the drawer and smelled of fried and there were burnt bits stuck to them . Underneath the sink there were two dirty dish cloths that smelled horrible. It had to put things through the dishwater before we used them to clean them. Crockery was chipped. The fridge is very small and broken parts . There was a huge pile of dirty towels in hallway outside our door when we arrived as well as empty tin cans on a shelve that looked unsightly. They were still there until we left. There were only 3 towels for 4 adults . However the day before we left to go home our daughter and husband returned to drop something off at the flat and there was a lady there so she asked her about an extra towel she gave her another and apologised about the towels outside that door . The seating arrangements in living space could be better as there is a chair but the sofa can only seat 2 as threre is a large gap in between the two sections with it being a recliner. There are seat stools around breakfast bar and although comfortable enough when you’re eating. Not really what you want to sit in to relax.
