About this house rental
It is certainly no accident that you just stumbled across this gem! This 3 BR, 2BA beach home is conveniently located in the heart of OKI just two blocks away from the beach access(just 3 min walk). “Accidentally Ours” is charming with big, beautiful oak trees in the front yard and cozy on the inside with vibrant beachy colors. If you are looking to relax and have some fun, "Accidentally Ours" is the place!
As you enter the front door, you are greeted by a vast screened-in porch furnished with a large table and plenty of seating- great for meals or to enjoy your morning coffee/afternoon beverage. Continue to the inside of the home and you will find an open concept boasting a comfy oversized couch and loveseat with a beautifully appointed, updated kitchen outfitted with all new appliances and countertops. The home has two sets of Twin bunk beds in one room, a Queen in another, and a King bedroom with an attached Master Bathroom. After a day at the beach come back, clean off in the hot/cold outdoor shower, and unwind. The back of the home has a newly created screened-in game room area complete with a ping pong table, darts, an outdoor refrigerator, microwave, and bar seating for 4. The backyard offers privacy and there is plenty of space to play a game of Cornhole, Bocce, croquet, or just toss the ball around. Additionally, the back of the house offers a great deck with table and chairs. Centrally located just off of Oak island Drive, this home is only a quick 8 minute walk to the Oak Island Pier and close to many of the shops and restaurants in Oak Island. Love the beach and it was so easy to access from the house. We really enjoyed the screened in porch. Was awesome for dinner and hanging out; and played a lot of games on the table in this area. I wish the ping pong table was cleaned and had good ping pong balls to play with. That was a disappointment, but not a deal breaker. Also, the deck in the back needs to be fixed or replace and new deck furniture is needed badly....but again the front porch made up for that. Overall we would rent this place again for sure.

The property was in a great location. Clean and well appointed. My favorite part of the home was the large screened in front porch overlooking the gorgeous live oak trees.
The only dark cloud to our stay was PTC 8. This brought massive rainfall to Brunswick county, including about 12” on the back screened porch. Thankfully, the water did not get into the home.
One thing, the yard needed to be mowed when we arrived.

Everything was good. Only thing I noticed, and I’m a clean freak so don’t put much judgement on this, the ping pong table was very dusty/dirty and the siding on the front porch could use a cleaning. We loved the house and it’s location. Salt and Sand did an excellent job keeping us up to date and getting information was quick and easy. Nicely done team!

Just ok. Inside was clean (except under tables), but the outside needs work. The back table should be replaced and all beach chairs are rusted and broken. I love the outside but the front carpet was gross and the back patio was not nice so we did not sit outside at all. Ping pong table was dirty and the paddles should be replaced- bring your own paddles if you want to play. Perfect location to the beach, pier and restaurants. Inside was clean, kitchen was nice.
