About this cottage rental
Enjoy ocean-like views and breath-taking sunsets and private beachfront property on top of a high bluff looking across Lake Michigan. The modern cabin boasts a spacious and bright sunroom with 265 ft of private beachfront, stunning views across the lake, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, an open living space, fully stocked kitchen, wine and coffee bar and a large dining table that seats 12. Outside is a patio with with big lounge furniture, grill and fire pit to enjoy lazy days looking out in the lake. Head down the private steps to the beach, to lounge, collect rocks, go for long walks on the shore and enjoy your days.

LOCATION: Located right on Lake Michigan with multiple locations for you to visit and enjoy your stay! Only 10 minutes from downtown Manistee, 6 miles from Little River Casino. Perfect location for day trips up the coast, 15 miles to Arcadia Bluffs, 50 miles to Sleeping Bear dunes and 60 miles to Traverse City.
LAYOUT: On the main floor, you'll find a master bedroom with a queen bed, and a second large bedroom twin over full bunk and a queen bed. Perfect for a family or all of the kids for sleepovers. The third queen bed is located in an attached bunkie room with a separate entrance and electric fireplace. There is a pullout full sofa in the living room for additional guests. The lower level you will find an updated second bathroom, laundry and retro mini-arcade.
Step outside onto the high bluff, overlooking the lake. This cabin boasts over 265ft. of private Lake Michigan beachfront access by private stairs. Firepit for roasting marshmallows, spacious patio with lounge seating, large picnic table, and Weber gas grill for all your entertaining needs.
The kitchen is fully stocked for everyday meal prep. Dishes, pots and pans, silverware, glass, a drip coffee maker and Keurig coffee maker, toaster, kettle, Ninja Blender, and fondue pot are all available for guest use. Additional kitchen items include dishwasher, ice maker, ovens, and stove. Also included: bed linens, bath towels, basic cleaning supplies, and soaps (not personal soaps).

Location is absolutely amazing and the house is just as advertised. The views are breath taking and the house is close enough to everything without being too close. We had a lovely time and will book this again for our fishing trip on the Manistee River again next year.

The house was not clean when we arrived. The bedsheets were dirty, stained and had hair on them. When we went downstairs, there was cobwebs everywhere and several spiders in the shower. Be careful when you rent here as the listing states two bathrooms, but the second one is in the basement. The basement has low ceilings and is only partially fixed up, so not the nicest to go down there in the middle of the night to use the bathroom.
They’re also cobwebs in the sunroom over the table and lamp area.
I contacted the owner and she initially apologized, but then said the stains on the sheets were probably just rust stains from the washer. She then sent over a cleaning crew to clean the beds and the basement. That night the cleaning crew came out to the house. They were very friendly and professional. They ended up changing and washing all the sheets and bedding for us. They also went to the store to buy bug spray and new bedspreads as the all of them in the house were dirty. They spent 3 1/2 hours cleaning and setting up the rooms for us which was very helpful. But it was after 11 o’clock at night by the time we got to bed.
We trip the breaker in the basement when we ran the microwave and coffee maker at the same time so be careful. Several of the dishes and glasses we used were dirty, and had to be re-cleaned before we used them.
The location was stunning and beautiful. There was lots of amenities inside and outside of the house for the renters to use.
