We had a great family getaway weekend. The house was clean. The hot tub and pool were wonderful! Plenty of room to gather inside and out.

The house was perfect for our family long weekend holiday. We all enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub. Plenty of room in the back for cornhole and hanging by the lake. Very clean inside and out. The host was very attentive and communicated well.

This is such a cute lake side cabin! We loved drinking coffee on the deck in the morning looking at the lake. The hot tub was perfect in the evening and we even were able to use the heated pool despite it being chilly out. Beds were comfortable and plentiful. Perfect spot for a girls’ weekend.

Thank you for our stay. While overall it was a good experience, there were a few safety issues if traveling with little kids. The upper deck railing and the indoor railing around the stairs are not up to code. We had to purchase a utility fence and zip tie it around the deck so our toddlers could be outside. The gate that closes off the pool needs to be replaced, and the door for the outdoor gas fireplace is broken and hanging on one hinge. Also, while this house does sleep 14, the pullout couch in the basement is not worthy to sleep on. My 11 and 13 yr old nephews ended up folding it up and sleeping on the floor. Besides those things, the location is 10/10 and lake Hamlin is great for fishing.
