Beautiful old house steeped in History, fantastic remote but accessible location, plenty of room, great initial correspondence with host, great wood burner & a good supply of wood
Broken chairs, microwave & toaster, some beds ok & some very worn out & uncomfortable. Pretty disgusting stains in one bedroom & on the stairs. Biggest problem was the Central Heating which heated the house without issue, but never managed to produce any hot water, so only cold showers & it also made the most incredible noise which sounded like a very heavy person stamping around upstairs both night & day, Also downstairs bedroom with open plan toilet & shower smelt like a Victorian gents. No reply from host on reporting issues
