Robenstein Hotel & SPA - Villa

A truly wonderful gem of a hotel. We stayed in their suite which was located in a villa just a few steps away from the main hotel building. We had the most beautiful view overlooking the little town of Zwiesel and enjoyed the big space the suite provided. The decor was definitely unique, far from modern, but still done with taste and comfort. We were absolutely *in love* with the super comfortable king size bed and the impeccable job they did with the soft lighting in the room. The breakfast included in our stay had a wide selection and great quality of ingredients, as well as a very pleasant dining room experience. The staff was kind and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed the spa and fitness facilities offered by the hotel. If you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing escape this is definitely the place to go to. We would be very happy to come back as soon as possible☺️

Nothing, everything was perfect.

Besonders zu erwähnen ist das Sauna Dorf. Auf der Dachterrasse geht ein Weg durch den Wald in dem 4 Sauna Blockhaus stehen + Ruhe Haus. Absolut einzigartig. Auch die Sauna Landschaft im Haupthaus ist sehr schön. Das Essen war besonders lecker. Sehr nettes Personal.

Kein Telefon im Nebenhaus.

Sehr ruhige Lage mitten im Grünen, große Auswahl beim Frühstück, Sauna, Pool, alles was man braucht.

Die Lage ist zwar sehr ruhig aber dafür auch immer ein Stückchen von allem entfernt. Zum Abendessen mussten wir auf jeden Fall immer mit dem Auto fahren, mit dem Rad wäre das vermutlich zu weit gewesen.

Breakfast was more than adequate in spread and presentation. The location and the facilities were beautiful. The room (suite) was clean and very comfortable.

Paying a lump fee for charging an E-car (of 25 Euros regardless of how many kilowatt hours are being used up) rather than paying after a meter is ridiculous. The wait staff was undertrained and rather green behind the ears but then haughty and not very on the ball. The food at dinner was meh (we have had much better at 3 star accomodations and other stays in 4-5 star hotels have shown us a far higher standard). The information given at the reception desk was lacking (regarding times, locations of spa facilities etc.) and the process was rather patronizing. Our room (suite) had some maintenance and repair issues in the bathroom (shoddy work adding the soap dispenser, musky old water smell from under the sink).
