Location great.

One of the shower heads in one of the rooms was nearly hanging off. In the same room, the little light flickered, which could be the bulb ready to blow or a loose wire.

There is quite a bit of damp in certain areas. It didn't spoil the holiday though.

Great location, comfy beds, just needs a few tweaks

The house was in a great location, easily walking distance to shops, bars and cafes. The beds and bedding really good quality, everyone slept really well. The living room was great for chilling out, however, there should be logs/equipment provided for the fire. Plenty of space within the house and most areas clean and fresh. No noise from the streets. Parking was a bonus, but to get 2 large cars on could be tricky due to others parking over the drive.

My initial issue was with the lack of communication from the manager. I had messaged on 2 separate occasions, once asking about parking, then another issue as we were due to arrive 30 mins early. Both of these messages were dealt with as an automated message. Very impersonal and unprofessional. The shower facilities need updating, the pressure on any of these showers in not great. The bathroom door in the suite on 1st floor does not shut properly, the other en suite on this floor does not have a door at all. And that shower room felt and smelt damp. There were obvious issues with the kitchen being damp and on going work on there did not bother us. There was not enough toilet roll for the stay, we had to go out and buy more, it ran out after 1 night. I feel there should have been access to more fire logs for the fire as this was such an added bonus. Even if we had paid for this to the accommodation. One of the back door keys doesn’t work as well as one of the others.

Was a pleasant stay in a great location, i would return again only if the issues i reported fixed.

Nice and big-great off road parking and great location.

Contacted owner about a few major issues, biggest was the damp problem most evident in the Kitchen. Issues found didn't justify the price paid.

Lovely family break

A really big family holiday let clean,spacious everything u need good beds,enough parking for 2 cars.ideal location.

Think got a problem with damp in the kitchen u could smell it and see damp patches that need sorting but was still clean would still stay there again just a problem in an old house that happens but if sorted would be perfect property.
