Amarre Paradise

Apartamento sencillo y funcional excelentemente bien ubicado en Puertito Mogán, a un minuto o menos de la avenida de la playa, sensación de vacaciones maravillosa. A eso le sumamos una maravillosa terraza donde podíamos hacer todas las comidas y ampliábamos la sensación de vacaciones. Muy cómodo y con todo lo necesario. Ascensor en el edificio para los que tengan problemas de movilidad, es un primer piso.

La segunda habitación es muy calurosa. Hay aire acondicionado en el salón y algo llega a la habitación de las dos camas, pero si en Semana Santa hacía calor en la habitación del fondo, no me quiero imaginar en pleno agosto. Las fotos reflejan perfectamente el apartamento, muy cómodo pero quizás algo frío/funcional en la decoración.

The location was good - it's in an alley with wine bars and restaurants below. The apartment is double glazed and the bars close early so there is very little noise pollution

The flat is very sparse and could do with some love and attention. The shower head was one for washing hair and was set very high up so you couldn't take it down and it needed descaling. The water was hot which was a plus. The lighting in the main room was too bright and there were no side lights. My husband has mobility problems and the host knew we would be using a mobility scooter which wasn't a problem. However, there is a very large step onto the balcony which caused difficulties as you had to step over it which wasn't easy. This needs mentioning in the notes on the property as it means the property isn't fully accessible.

Location and proximity to the beach was excellent. There are bars and fabulous restaurants right at your doorstep. The apartment was spacious and the balcony area was excellent. The contact person for the property was very helpful and responded quickly to enquiries.

Bedding (pillows) could have been better. As we like to both eat in and dine out, an oven or a combination microwave would have been a brilliant addition. However other than that it was excellent.

The best thing about the property is the location and having outdoor space (balcony). Handy to have car parking available for a small fee.

The apartment is very bare - lacking any real character, just white walls. The pillows are really bad and when we queried if there were alternatives we were informed they use the same in all their apartments. I found this really disappointing as other reviewers have also said the pillows are an issue. 2 people slept without a pillow all week as they found them so hard, and the other 2 made a pillow out of clothing! It was also irritating not having things like washing up liquid provided - we thought they'd just forgotten it so flagged it but the host said we needed to buy our own. The shower also floods the bathroom when you use it (as the lip of the shower tray tile isn't high enough) so that was also irritating. Noisy building work next door starts at 9am every day so don't expect a lie-in!
