The English speaking reception staff were very welcoming and helpful with information about local, non-hotel parking.The room was a good size, very clean, modern, and comfortable for our minimal needs. It had enough space for two large suitcases on the floor without tripping over them. There was also wardrobe space with hangers if needed. Bathroom was also very clean with soap and showergel provided. The 5th floor room was very well soundproofed, but also had a window that opened widely for some fresh air when required. The breakfast was more than adequate

Only one minor dislike. There was only one tiny bin in the bathroom. A 4 night stay built up more rubbish than that bathroom bin could handle. A larger waste bin in the room would have been more convienient.

Great location for driving south from tunnel. Clean, staff super helpful, secure car park (not underground so fine for roof box and bike rack) and a great breakfast!

Unfortunately when we arrived late on, there weren’t any parking spaces left and one guest had taken up two spaces with their car and trailer, when really they could have been parked together (staff member that dealt with us wasn’t happy with her colleague that let this happen!). We had to park across the back of spaces and staff then called us at 6am to move. Not ideal when you’re travelling all day, but rectified with ease.

Modern hotel, clean, Friendly staff, late checkout , secure car park, dog friendly and Fresh tasty breakfast = Perfect stay

Room was a good size and nice and clean

Aircon unit did not work, on some of the hottest days of the year, we couldn't get any air into the room, let alone aircon. We had reserved an electric car parking space as we were travelling quite a distance. When we arrived, there wasn't even a space available to park and non electric cars were parked in the electric charging bays. A staff member moved her car so we could park, which we appreciated, but this added to the stress of our journey when it had already been booked. When we requested extra pillows it was treated as a hassle, to the extent that a staff member followed my partner back up to the room to check and then proceeded to walk into the room, despite knowing I was sat on the loo and getting ready for bed. I did not appreciate their thinking this was appropriate.
