Benalgolf Vista al mar - PISCINA Y PLAYA - CERCANO A CAMPO DE GOLF

It is a comfortable apartment in a quiet neighbourhood, with great swimming pool for residents (rather not crowded). We especially liked the terrace (spacious enough for 4 or even more people), quality of the apartment, modern bathroom. Nearby (walking distance 1-10mins) all what is needed: grocery shops, beach, several restaurants. In the living room we found some books when we were done with our own books. Host team was really helpful but should have informed us in advance about pool maintenance.

These were significant inconveniences that prevent us from rating more than 8: 1) Swimming pool is great, but beware of unexpected maintenance - we were not notified about it (technical staff on site claimed it was due to some incident but seemed not true) - half of our stay it was closed [BTW: the host offered access to another pool in another area, 2km away, finally we replanned our activities and "lost" just one day]. 2) Aircon is eco-friendly, but in the hottest period max run time of 2h was too short for us to sleep well all night (as we didn't want to freeze first half of the night to survive the other half). 3) Description and icons of small bedroom are inconsistent on Booking - in reality it is a bed with 2 mattresses. You can either extend it to double or place one of the mattresses on the floor separately from the main bed (the latter was our case as we have two teenagers, boy and girl). 4) Dishwasher in the kitchen would be a big plus.

Good communication from the host and very easy check in. The complex is extremely quiet, we didn't hear a single noise the whole time we were there. The apartment was cleaned to a very good standard and it was cosy and homely with decor and accessories to make you feel at home, which is very importantt to us. We were able to stream English tv programmes for a night indoors, the neighbours are friendly and it's an ideal location for exploring as the bus stop is at the end of the road and the train station a short taxi ride away. Taxis wait outside the Estival Hotel across the road and we also used Uber which is easy and cheap. Lots of places to eat and drink a short walk away and various beaches also within a short walk. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time here.

There is a bedside table only on one side of the bed so there was nowhere to put drinks and belongings down. A few more cleaning products would be handy such as floor cleaner, a couple more tea towels are needed (2 is not sufficient for a two week stay). Bath towels need replacing with bigger and better quality ones and again, a second set is needed for a 2 week stay. I appreciate the fact that the property has a washing machine so these items can be washed, but if the weather is wet as it was during our stay, they cannot be dried. More knives are needed, there is only one for cutting veg, meat, bread etc so we had to keep washing it up during preparation for a meal

Sehr gute und ruhige Lage mit Blick vom Balkon aufs Meer. Alles sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet. Sehr zu empfehlen

Very comfortable for family of 4. Clean and well equipped , cosy for nights in , good location for easy access to local bars restaurants , Uber for further trips . Bus stop to Marbella only 10min walk away. Beach 5/10min walk. Lidl next door very convenient . Would have been perfect had we not had maintenance work directly above all week and pool shut

Unfortunately the management company / owners failed to inform that maintenance work being done during the whole week. Very noisy wake-up at 8am every weekday continued all day. Also pool is shut only seems to be open July and August again management should advise of this in description as they mention pool multiple times in listing. Luckily sea made up for lack of pool.
