3 mins walk to a local beach, 15 mins to a local shop (though uphill), I think the bed was quite comfortable, a very helpful host. I think the house is naturally protected from sun (as surrounded by trees) and we used AC just a few times for a very short period.

The quality of finish across the flat; like a kitchen lamp with no lamp shade but a bulb only, or a random selection of pictures on the walls, stained furniture, a badly equipped kitchen- there was some cutlery but we needed to buy plastic plates as none provided, no washing liquid or kitchen sponge, no kettle so I needed to boil water in a pan, some random furniture selection, a really bad Internet. Small bathroom shower cabinet, quite stained. Overall I would say that noone really lives like that nowadays, not in Western world anyway. Not sure why someone gave 'Exceptional' rating- I had great expectations and was disappointed. Maybe if I read an honest review I would have lowered my expectations.
