The kitchen was recently updated with all new stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops. There is a fire pit, ping-pong table, pool table, two tandem kayaks, canoe and waterfront access to Greer's Ferry - bring your water toys! The top tier of the porch is perfect for sunbathing while the bottom screened porch offers a bug-free, shaded experience. The property is secluded--adjacent to 150 acres of undeveloped forest--yet, about 3 miles from Cove Creek Campground which boasts a public boat ramp and sandy beach. In addition to the lake, there's great hiking, fishing and floating in the Little Red River, and the restaurants of Heber Springs a short drive away. The .25 mile drive from the top of the bluff down to the cabin is a very steep, winding, asphalt road; for your safety, we recommend you plan your inaugural trip in the daylight. Great, versatile spaces for indoor and outdoor activities at the lake. Fabulous tree-shaded wrap around deck with view of the water. Well appointed kitchen and dining area for families.

Check in and communication with the host was a breeze. They were very clear on all details. The house was better than the what the listing said! It accommodated my large family very well. If you plan to bring a boat, jet-ski, etc., make sure and know where to park the trailer prior to driving DOWN the driveway. The driveway is fairly steep and there is a nice are to park a trailer, prior to descending. The host was very clear with this and gave nice instructions. Cove creek boat ramp is just a few miles down the road and provided a great spot for us to unload and load our jet-skis when needed. Other than that, show up and enjoy what the beautiful location has to offer!

By far one of my favorite bookings- we absolutely adored the property! It was so convenient to go hop on the boat and go for a swim with the kids (we had no issue mooring the boat just a short walk down the hill). Yes, the drive in is definitely steep as noted but doable. Our son loved the puzzles, the boys loved the pool table, and the kitchen was very well equipped for cooking. The lake was gorgeous! Perfect family get away

This cabin not only met, but exceeded our expectations! Photos don’t do it justice. It was spacious and inviting, comfortably furnished, tastefully decorated, well supplied, and had plenty of stuff to do for all ages. The path down to the water is nice and wide and fairly smooth with gradual descent, not steep. The “beach” is wide enough for some chairs and floaties, but be aware the rocks are pretty rough. Water shoes or sandals HIGHLY recommended! We are already planning on booking it in the fall!

My family had a great time at the lake house. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. It felt very private nestled in the trees. The lake was beautiful and the walk from the house to the lake wasnt bad. Because of the way the trees are in the water it felt like we had our own little cove. The rest of the lake was also very quiet we only saw a couple boats the entire week. My kids had a great time swimming and paddling around. They also enjoyed making smores and catching fireflies. This house was great for our multigenerational family I would highly recommend to others.

We chose this property because my daughter was getting married close to this property, so glad we chose it. It worked out perfectly. Had everything we needed and moore. We all were entertained by the driveway coming down to the property. It is very descending, but we made it. Just drive very slow and get there during the day. I would suggest bringing all of your groceries and everything you need before hand.

Amazing property, very beautiful lake. The house was very clean and had everything you could need and more. The beds were super comfortable and the pool table was a hit. The only downside was the steep road to get to the house. Going down was fine but going back up was slick and difficult for our car without 4WD.

Family of seven. Gorgeous home! We stayed a week and enjoyed every minute. The screened in porch downstairs is a great spot. We enjoyed the downstairs. The walk to the lake is fine. We definitely got our exercise. We tied our pontoon there for the week with no problems. The drive in is very steep but we had no problems in our vehicles. So worth it!

Everything about this place was perfect. Kids and adults had a good time. We took our boat with us and the public boat ramp was extremely convenient as well as being able to moor it on the property. The only thing was the driveway to access the property. The owner was not joking about the dangerous driveway! Heed all of their warnings! We parked our boat trailer at the top as recommended. We headed into to Heber Springs one day and climbed SugarLoaf mountain and went to the waterfall at Collin’s Creek Trailhead. Small town, but tons of fun activities.

Second time staying at this property! The host(s) are extremely easy to communicate with and have put together a beautiful retreat from the hustle and bustle. My husband and I traveled in from St. Louis and met our friends from Memphis there. 4 adults and two younger teens had plenty of space and were very comfortable. The can crusher was an absolute hit with our youngest traveling companion 😂. We all enjoyed many games of pool, time by the lake everyday kayaking, swimming and playing stick fetch with the charmingly sweet neighbor dogs. The well equipped kitchen and grill were perfect for our families to enjoy preparing many meals together over the long weekend. Everything you could truly need is there and after a quick trip to Harps we didn’t leave again until it was time to pack up. Worth every penny and miles in the car for our two families to meet for a wonderful long weekend! Thank you 😊!

Great host, clear directions and information at the home. Host has thought through the process and anticipated the guests needs. Clean, organized and well maintained. Host was thoughtful and very responsive. The pictures do not do this place justice. Great for a larger group with kids looking to relax. Beach is rocky, wish had water shoes. The kayaks and canoe is a great addition. The kids loved it. The drive way is steep and winding, I suggest against arriving at night for the more cautious drivers. If I ever find myself in this part of the world again I will reach out to stay here.

This rental was phenomenal! I gathered my 4 adult children and their spouses to celebrate Nana’s 75th birthday. Owner was easy to communicate with, lake access was very easy (mild hill walking), plenty of games and outdoor toys , kitchen dishes were wonderfully stocked, everyone slept well, driving/arrival conditions are very accurate. We had a wonderful weekend, wish we could have stayed longer.

This home was the perfect retreat for our family of 6 adults and 6 children, ages 14 yrs to 15 months! The home was very well provisioned with everything we needed to have a wonderful stay. Plenty of space to find your own little nook, and a large gathering space for family fun nights! (Though most of our time was spent on the beach and in the lake!!) It's a great spot for water activities! The drive into the home was a bit steep, but not impossibly so, and we appreciated having been notified to be careful. Our family of 7 enjoyed our stay. We will be back! The property was very clean and well-maintained. Plenty of space for our large family to enjoy our time spent. We have no complaints. We kayaked, played pool and ping pong, swam, cooked three meals a day (great kitchen), and had a marshmallow roast. Bring your water shoes for the swim area as it is rocky and some beach chairs! It is so beautiful and surrounded by nature. LOVED it!

Experience through and through was great. One opportunity would be to describe just how steep the road in is. One morning after some rain, the road out was wet and with the steepness we were unable to ascend the hill in our Honda odyssey, even though it’s paved. The following morning all was dry and no issues given no reduction in traction on the road surface.

Our family was excited to come here and get away from it all. This place is quiet, peaceful and has something for everyone. Our kids are 4 and 15 and they both were very entertained! Plenty of space for everyone! Not much of a drive to some beautiful hikes in the area as well! The driveway is steep, just take it slow, we had absolutely no issues navigating it and the kids thought it was awesome. Thank you to the hosts for offering this peaceful gem!!

We always take a trip around the holidays with two other families, there are 14 of us total and this beautiful lake house fit us perfectly! Emily, the owner, and Rhonda the housekeeper went above and beyond to accommodate us and make our stay wonderful. We would definitely like to come back in the summer to enjoy the lake.

The home was fabulous. Even though the weather was bad during our stay, the amenities…pool table, ping pong table, and large garage (the little ones were able to ride their new tricycles) provided lots of indoor activities. The only issue was the road leading to the property. The morning we left, the road was wet. Two of our three vehicles had difficulty making it back up the very steep drive. We loved the home but not the location.
