About this house rental
Large house of 180 m2 on 3 levels composed of 4 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, 1 veranda. Very nice East-South-West exposure.
1 fully enclosed garden and two terraces East and West
1 laundry room and a large garage where you can store your bikes if needed.
It is located 300 m from the pretty beach of Porcé by a pedestrian path.
Numerous cycle lanes that go to the downtown and the embankment of Saint Nazaire and which also head toward Saint Marc, Pornichet and La Baule.
Bus stop to the downtown 100 m away. Henri Dunant stop, direct bus to the train station
The house is composed of:
- The first level is composed of a 20m2 veranda with an extendable dining table that can accommodate up to 10 people, a fitted kitchen (detailed below), a living room with corner sofa and coffee table, a powder room and a garage/laundry area.
- The second level is composed of 1 large bedroom with a small sink and a 180 cm bed, the bedroom opens onto a small balcony, a 2nd bedroom with an 80 pull-out bed which turns into a 160cm double bed, a large bathroom (shower and bath) and a toilet
- The third level: a bedroom with an 80 pull-out bed which transforms into a 160cm double bed and a 2nd bedroom with a bunk bed (3 places) and a large living room of 25 m2 with reading and games area where extra mattresses can be added.
- There is a terrace to the east with a small table to have a coffee in the sun in the morning, and a large terrace to the west with table and chairs and a gas barbecue. The terrace to the west is covered by a pergola with waterproof roof. The garden is 120 m2 large. There is a chicken coop, strawberry plants, raspberries and tomatoes. There is also a compost at the bottom of the garden.
The kitchen is equipped as for a large family. It has the following equipment: an oven, a ceramic hob, a kitchen (thermo mix from LIDL), dishwasher, blender, scale, all a series of pots and pans.
You will find on a shelf in the garage: raclette machine, pierradae machine, waffle/croque-monsieur, a deep fryer, snow white machine.
In the laundry room is the washing machine and dryer. We also have a Tancarville.
We leave you to your use: condiments, a few coffee and tea bags, household products, toilet paper.
We leave one towel per person and the beds will be made.
This is our main house that we rent out during our holidays. You will find all the children's toys (4, 6 and 9 years old), books and comics,
The cupboards will not be totally emptied of our personal belongings but you will have several drawers available in each room.
Note that we have WIFI BUT NO TELEVISION.
We have 2 cute chickens. Their enclosure is made in such a way that you don't have to take care of them.
As we rent during our absence, it is not obvious that we will be present when you arrive. In this case, we will leave you the key in a key box and a whole series of documents about the house and ideas for outings and walks. Arrival and departure can be done independently.

La maison de Dorothée est idéalement placée pour découvrir cette belle partie maritime de la Loire Atlantique. Située dans la jolie station balnéaire de St Marc-sur-mer (pour nous, la plus jolie station du coin ! ), la maison est dans un quartier calme et résidentiel, à quelques mètres à pied de la plage et du sentier côtier : on ne pouvait pas rêver mieux.
Spacieuse, joliment décorée, riche en livres et jeux pour tous, la maison offre tout le confort que l’on peut espérer.
La véranda - salle de séjour qui donne sur le jardin est un puits de lumière tout au long de la journée et la présence des petites poules (autonomes !) est franchement sympathique.
Les enfants ont tout un étage pour eux avec 2 chambres et un grand salon rempli de jeux et de livres.
La literie est très confortable, la salle de bains immense et la cuisine parfaitement équipée. Nous étions deux familles avec 5 enfants et parfaitement à notre aise.
Dorothée est une hôte attentive et bienveillante. Nous nous sommes tout de suite sentis à l’aise.
La région regorge de sites à visiter : entre les plages les plus proches (prévoir des chaussures de bain pour quelques-unes), le sentier côtier et ses jolies pêcheries, les cités de caractère comme Le Croisic ou Guérande à quelques kilomètres, le parc de la Brière, ou les visites guidées de St Nazaire, il y a mille choses à faire. Coup de coeur pour la plage du tournage des "Vacances de Monsieur Hulot", à quelques minutes de la maison. :-)
Une semaine n’aura pas été suffisante pour tout voir et nous espérons bien revenir pour poursuivre nos aventures !
