This comfortably furnished, non-smoking holiday home for 5 people is in a quiet yet central location, in the neighbourhood of St. Peter's Church in Burhave. Burhave, the largest town on the Butjadingen peninsula, offers numerous restaurants and shopping facilities. Burhave's green beach, the play barn and the North Sea lagoon are approx. 1 km from your holiday home and are easily accessible by bike or on foot. The holiday home offers enough space for 5 people on 2 floors. From the entrance area, you enter the fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, cooker, oven, fridge and microwave and adjoining dining area. Continue into the living room, where the seating area invites you to relax or watch TV. From the living room you reach a small bedroom with a single bed. Also on the ground floor is another bedroom with a double bed. In combination with the bathroom with a walk-in shower, which is also on the ground floor, the house offers senior-friendly facilities. There is a further double bedroom on the upper floor. The beautiful garden belonging to the house, on a plot totalling 850 m², offers plenty of space for playing or barbecuing or simply enjoying the sun in peace and quiet. And should the weather not play along, various shelters and roofed corners offer protection. There is ample parking space for bicycles and cars. We ask for your understanding that pets are not allowed in this house.

Wir (Ehepaar Mitte 30) waren mit einem befreundeten Paar und deren einjähriger Tochter für vier Nächte über den Jahreswechsel zu Gast. Checkin und -out verliefen reibungslos über das nur zwei Fußminuten entfernte Büro. Beim Betreten des Hauses macht man gefühlt eine Zeitreise. Die Einrichtung der Küche holte uns in unsere Kindheit in den 90er Jahren zurück - und dies ist nicht negativ zu verstehen. Toll sind die gut gefüllten Bücherregale, bei denen auch für Kinder etwas dabei ist. Auf dem riesigen Smart-TV haben wir den Silvesterabend spontan zum entspannten Filmabend gemacht. Die Aufteilung auf zwei Etagen passte für unsere Bedürfnisse perfekt. Während das Kind schon schlief, konnten wir im abgelegenen kleinen Einzelzimmer "am anderen Ende des Hauses" noch bis spät Musik machen. Einziger Kritikpunkt war, dass die von uns ausschließlich genutzte Hintertür sich nur eher widerwillig schließen ließ. Zudem war das angegebene WLAN offenbar nicht eingeschaltet. Da es für uns nicht wichtig war, haben wir danach aber auch gar nicht mehr gefragt. Wäre von der freundlichen und engagierten Verwaltung aber sicherlich geregelt worden.
Supermarkt und Bäcker sind direkt um die Ecke, der Weg zum Deich ist bei entspannten Gang in etwas mehr als 10 Minuten zurückgelegt. Für unseren kurzen Entspannungsurlaub im Winter war es genau das richtige Ferienhaus.
