Coastal Apartment Christina1

Sehr schönes Apartment direkt am Strand. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in unmittelbarerer Nähe, Metzgerei (sehr gut) gegenüber, Bäckerei mit günstigen Sandwiches und Bio-Gemüseladen 200m entfernt. Deshalb haben wir auch einige Male selber gekocht, es war alles in der Küche vorhanden. Der Strand ist perfekt geeignet für Kinder, sehr flach abfallend, eine Station für SUP usw. direkt nebenan. Gesäumt von alten Tamarisken, Sonnenliegen und Dusche gibt es gratis. Und (mit dem Auto) sehr schöne Buchten im 20 Minuten Umkreis. Restaurants vor allem in Richtung Hafen, im Mina's Place haben wir sehr leckeren Fisch gegessen, wir denken Rotbrasse, auf den ersten Blick teuer, aber zum Fischpreis kommt nix dazu für die Beilagen. Christina ist sehr freundlich, sie gab uns auch Tipps für andere Strände. Wer wandern möchte, findet mindestens 3 Schluchten in der Nähe, aufgrund der Hitze haben wir nur die schöne Pefki Schlucht begangen. Also nicht nur Strand, sondern auch schöne Landschaft hier. Gerne wieder in Christina's Apartment, wenn wir nach Ostkreta reisen.

Just the roads beside were a bit noisy.

Perfect location, right next to the beach! Stunning view onto the Med. Shops and services close by. Stayed with a 2 year old and cot and high chair were provided.

Nothing bad to say.

We had a 4 bed appartment with 2 bedrooms. For just two people it was great. For a family with 2 children it would also be perfect. For 2 couples perhpas the second bedroom is a little cozy. There was a huge amount of storage space in the main bedroom. The beach balcony was south facing but had an excellent parasol and a fabulous view. The other balcony was shaded and looked over an interesting little main street and a lovley mountain. The kitchen/dining area/lounge was quite roomy. Christina lived next door and couldn't have been more helpful. There was private parking at the front and a few sun longers on the beach under lovley big trees. teh beach was pebble under the sun loungers but soft sand in the water.There were plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.

There was virtually nothing to not like. The road through the village did have a few cars travelling quickly during the night but nothing too bad. Perhaps it woudl have ben nice to have an adaptor in the sockets by the bed.
