The Sandlot -
Stay right on the beach! Nestled just steps from the Atlantic Ocean is this completely updated 8 Bedroom, 6 Bathroom cottage that sports incredible views, an oceanfront pool, hot tub, and spacious oceanfront trex deck.
The home is currently offered as a single family rental. Originally set up as duplex, a doorway INSIDE the home between the living rooms separates or connects the two sides. This allows you to enjoy and share your space, but also gives you the convenience and separation should you choose!
(TWO kitchens, TWO Living spaces!)
The layout includes two identical sides. This means there are two fully stocked kitchens (one on each side), and two family rooms (one on each side), with a doorway connecting the two sides that is accessible from inside the home.
The home was renovated in 2022 to include brand new kitchen cabinets and countertops, new floors through the home, new paint, and a brand new master bathroom on both East and West sides spring 2023. New decking and new roof! The home feels brand new.
Each master bedroom has a king bed, and its own, amazing, large private oceanfront covered balcony overlooking the pool and beach, with unobstructed views of the ocean. Each master bedroom has a brand new master bathroom put in the spring of 2023 with walk in shower, toilet, and single vanity.
Overall, EACH side hosts:
An OCEAN FRONT Master bedroom on the top floor, with private spacious balcony overlooking the pool and direct ocean views.
A second bedroom upstairs with two sets of twin bunk beds (4 twin beds total)
A third bedroom upstairs with queen bed.
A play area/ lounge room with daybed (floor space here will fit a standard size pack-n-play).
A first floor bedroom (with queen bed), convenient to the first floor bathroom and kitchen.
Totaling 8 bedrooms, 2 play/rec rooms, and 6 bathrooms.
Fully fenced in pool area for an added safety measure. You can walk right to the beach access without needed to enter the pool area. Great for young kids. Pool and hot tub are professionally cleaned and maintained 1-2x per week depending on season.
Pool can be heated for $650 per week, just let us know ahead of your stay if you'd like to add this! Custom pricing for shorter stays.

Overall the house was perfect for our gathering of friends. The house was clean, the view was great and the walk to the beach was short. I would recommend that the grills get replaced. The propane grill was not cleaned and looked like it was time to replace it. The charcoal grill was ok but again needed a cleaning.Stephanie was responsive and attended to our needs.

This house is an absolute gem. Aaron and Stephanie are fantastic, you could not ask for better hosts. This house has great views, great layout and PLENTY of parking which is so difficult to find down there with big houses. Usually, you have a house that can sleep 22 people and have a driveway big enough for 4 cars, but not here. There is a gracious amount of room for parking. The Sandlot offers 8 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, great hang out area on the back porch, heated pool, hot tub... this house definitely has everything you will need! The Sandlot is a great option for your EI stay!! A

Lots of the little things just not right - the hot tub didn’t work, the grill was nasty and unusable, there were red ants all over the pool deck, half of the house had a mildewy/wet-dog smell to it, and the sliding glass doors were so grimy and weathered in the track system they were very hard to open and close. It took several phone calls to the management company, and messages to the owner, to finally get someone to come out to the home. They were not able to fix the hot tub, they had one can of pest spray which didn’t put much of a dent in the ants, they sprayed WD-40 on the sliding glass doors but that didn’t improve the ease of opening. They did clean the grill good enough to use, so some credit there I guess. If you are looking for a lot of bedrooms right on the water with a pool, and you don’t care about the details, this house is sufficient for that. But for the price we paid, I expected better.
