About this house rental

Come enjoy the best of both worlds in our beautiful historic town! Cypress Grove Inn is approximately 1 mile from our beautiful downtown area. Cypress Grove Inn gives you the peace of the country along with the sounds of nature. A short drive and you will enjoy Madison Main St., where numerous restaurants and retailers await you!
Your accommodations are approximately 1800-2000 square feet, the accommodations are half of the house, large outer deck with 2 fire pits, hot tub, and fishing if you choose.
It provides privacy at its best!
Consisting of 2 bedrooms,each with Queen bed, one full bathroom, and separate area with a small fridge, coffeemaker, and snacks.
Living room with dining table, smart tv, electric fireplace, indoor fountain.
Cleaning fee-$75

Our accommodations provide spacious rooms, closets, and individual patio seating over looking a Spring fed pond fully stocked with fish-- bring your poles, and enjoy a rest in the hot tub!
Our sunrises and sunsets are amazing, and the views will take your breath away. You most likely will encounter deer, wild turkey, and many other sights. Bring your bikes, hiking gear, and take a peaceful walk around the property or at Clifty Falls State Park that is only 6 miles away, local wineries with beautiful landscapes, walk the beautiful river-walk, and enjoy some of Madison's Magical Musicians in our historic taverns or outdoor venues.

Your host and hostess Tom and Chandra Ferry will greet you upon your arrival!
Code locks are used and codes will be given prior to arrival.
Feel free to pull up to the main front door to unload your belongings. There is additional parking available on the west end of the driveway.
Unfortunately, at this time we are not handicap accessible, however access into home is one level. There are stairs to the rooms.

The Cypress Grove Inn is truly unique as it was built in 1825.
A true historical home, exhibiting the original hardwood floors, muscat shots embedded in the original exterior and interior field stone, five acres of property for you to take walks, a full spring fed pond that is open for fishing , quick access to Madison downtown/ various landmarks., and patio areas to embrace the beautiful sunrise and sunsets.

There is so much to enjoy here in Madison, IN.

**Hot Tub is located on lower deck area. There are safety guidelines listed once checked in.

**Checkout procedure- please just text hosts once you have departed. (317-625-8311).
All towels, sheets, trash hosts will take care of for you.
If there is an excess of trash feel free to place in dumpster and the north end of the house ( front).
If any damage had occurred please Inform hosts prior to departing.

This place is absolutely beautiful, immaculate, warm and welcoming! The hosts provided coffee, tea, wine, snacks, toiletries….so much more than we expected. Even though they live on the property, they offer complete privacy unless you need something. We sought them out to sit on the porch in the evenings and visit. They are a beautiful, kind, fun couple. We will definitely be going back, not just to stay in this beautiful place, but to spend time with them as well.

Amazing property and top notch hosts! My sister and I loved the peace and quiet in the house and the hosts supplied us with more than we could have hoped for. We have stayed at a fair number of places from VRBO and the other service. This one surpasses them all and all future places will be compared to this one. The place itself is beautiful with its stone walls and old wood. Then there are the comfortable outdoor spaces overlooking the pond and its soothing bullfrog sounds. But what really puts this over the top is the small details. Everywhere you look there is something intentionally put there with the guest in mind. Fresh flowers, candles, Led lights everywhere, information on Madison, snacks, WINE! Also it was very clean, always a very important thing. Before arriving there, I thought the solid 5-star reviews were a little suspicious. But it's accurate, it deserves 5 stars! Great job, Chandra and Tom!

Wow! What a find! The house was beautifully decorated and had the most peaceful setup outside. The hosts met us upon arrival for a tour and to help carry our bags. They provided great suggestions for dining and activities. We felt very comfortable and welcome. It was the perfect backdrop for a relaxing girls weekend. Everything was clean neat. If we stay again in Madison, we will likely choose our weekend based on this property availability.

This home is beautifully landscaped and decorated. It is clean and the hosts have provided everything to make your stay comfortable. There is also a nice pond for fishing in back. Although the place is attached to the owner's home, you have a separate entrance and plenty of privacy. Just a short drive to downtown.

Hosts were incredible. Everything available from towels and necessities to a small breakfast bar available in the room for us to have so we would not have to run out right away in the am for a snack or coffee. Very quiet and peaceful surrounding with a hot tub available to only us to use and beautiful grounds to walk around. The character of being in a 200+ year old home was so neat to see and the fact it was updated but you can still see and enjoy the character was awesome.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The overall experience was one of the best we have ever had. The hosts, the property, the location exceeded our expectations. This was a perfect couple day getaway for my wife and I. The hosts are great and are there to help in any way, and the location is just minutes from downtown Madison. Beautiful 200 year old house, with cypress trees, ponds, ducks and pretty grounds. Hot tub was great! We also enjoyed the fire pit. Close to town and Clifty Falls park. If you’re looking for 3 bedrooms, be sure to ask when booking. The friendly owners are doing some remodeling (hopefully adding a 2nd bath) and that 3rd bedroom. Otherwise it was wonderful!

Beautiful, peaceful accommodations. Perfect for a getaway for two of us for the weekend. The hosts supplied so many thoughtful extras ( bottles of wine, juice, muffins, and even loaned us a Bluetooth speaker). The back patio was wonderful and the beds were more comfortable than my own! Full disclosure, when I originally booked I did not realize that this was a rental of the bottom floor of the house the homeowners lived in. But they were so wonderfully accommodating and then went about their own business and even used a separate entry door than what we used. Tom and Chandra are really great and if I could give more than 5 stars I would!

This place is amazing and the owners are just as amazing! My beautiful wife and I stayed for three nights. Their offered space is plentiful and beautiful. Their landscape is gorgeous with 2 ponds and a breathtaking view. We caught a lot of bass and bluegills. Tom and Chandra are an amazing couple and will help you in any way. Thank you both for such an honored stay. Madison is a fabulous town with lots of local places to eat and shop. If you love historical towns like me, then you will love their Main St. One of the best I have ever seen.

The property is in a secluded area a very short drive from historic downtown Madison. Chandra and Tom were perfect hosts. They greeted us on arrival and made certain everything needed was in place prior. The place was clean, comfortable and very nicely appointed. The pictures don’t do it justice. A highly recommended place to stay!
