Ermoupolis hidden gems

We got a free upgrade to the terrace apartment. We loved the kitchen with all things needed to cook simple meals, aircon provided, TV, lovely bathroom with nicely presented towels and extra soap. The terrace was so beautiful and really added to the experience. Property manager Antonio was so nice and extremely helpful for any thing we needed. The people involved in our stay were so nice. Great communication. Lee way with check in and check out times !

While the beach is very close, there are a lot of stairs/ up hill to get to the apartment so be aware of that. Suited us fine. Was initially tricky to find the apartment among the little alleyways. Small room attached to apartment is shared with one of the property managers

Ο τίτλος “hidden gems” τους ταιριάζει απόλυτα! Είναι από αυτά τα μέρη που τα ανακαλύπτεις και χαίρεσαι που τα βρήκες! Εξαιρετικό κατάλυμα στα όμορφα σοκάκια της Σύρου. Ο χώρος είχε πολύ ωραίο design, απλός, προσεγμένος και ήταν καθαρός και πλήρως εξοπλισμένος με όλα όσα χρειαζόμασταν. Η τοποθεσία είναι πολύ καλή, καθώς είναι 5 λεπτά μακριά απο το κέντρο της πόλης. Οι οικοδεσπότες ήταν πολύ βοηθητικοί, εξυπηρετικοί και μας καθοδήγησαν στο πως να βρούμε το κατάλυμα και που να παρκάρουμε δίπλα απο τα δωμάτια.

Hosts were very kind and responsive, ready to act upon our requests. Relatively close to the city center.

The pull-out couch that supposedly beds two people is not meant to be used as a bed. The apartment realistically hosts two people, so listing and charging as if it were for four is just not ok. My friends are quite small and they barely fit on the couch, alongside having very uncomfortable sleep and back pain afterwards. I’m 177cm tall and I myself would not be able to sleep on it. If my friends were taller people, it would have been impossible to sleep, let alone rest there. You should rent the property for two adults, perhaps two + one child, but certainly not as if it was for four adults. Keep in mind limited transfer methods if you carry a lot of luggage, as the public transport is scarce and there are a lot of stairs to reach the property.
