About this house rental
In the heart of the Pyrenees, in the Vallée des Gaves, just a stone's throw from the Val d'Azun, we offer our authentic barn located in a peaceful small village near Argelès-Gazost and Lourdes.
Perfect for a return to nature and the heart of outdoor activities, this charming barn is the ideal place for a family or friends' getaway. Enjoy relaxation and disconnection in a green setting with a stunning view of the surrounding mountains.
It is ideally located:
- Just a short distance from major sites: Gavarnie, Col du Tourmalet, Pont d'Espagne, Lourdes...
- Hiking trails in the heart of nature, accessible directly from the house
- 5 minutes from Argelès-Gazost: shops, thermal baths, and wellness centers
- 25 minutes from the Cauterets ski resort
- 15 minutes from the cross-country skiing resort of Couraduque in the Val d'Azun
- Close to the Pyrenees National Park
- Nearby and numerous mountain biking circuits
- For cyclists, 3 passes in the immediate vicinity (Col du Soulor, Col d'Aubisque and Col des Spandelles)
The barn features a large living space with a lounge and dining area around a fireplace with an insert, and exposed beams that create a warm atmosphere. The kitchen, located next to the living room, is fully equipped (oven, gas stove, dishwasher, dishes, etc.).
On the ground floor, there is also a separate toilet, a shower room, and one bedroom. Upstairs, a large mezzanine with a central walkway, and on each side of the barn, two independent bedrooms. A separate toilet with a hand basin is located on the mezzanine.
The total living area is 140 m².
Please note:
- Bed linen and towels must be brought by guests (sheets, towels, and dishcloths are not provided), but we can offer a set of sheets for each bed if you wish (60€ for 3 sets of sheets).
- Pets are not allowed.
- This accommodation is non-smoking.

Great little place to stay, very convenient for the town of Argeles-Gazost and super access to the nearby iconic climbs of the Tourmalet, Hautacam, Luz Ardiden, Aubisque etc. very good communication from our host, would thoroughly recommend

Logement plein de charme rappelant un chalet de montagne. Nous avons adoré le calme, l'ensoleillement du jardin et la vue magnifique. Fabienne en charge de l'accueil a été très chaleureuse et pleine de bons conseils sur la région, les activités, les restaurants. La cuisine de la grange était aussi très bien équipée ce qui est un vrai plus.

La grange aménagée est très bien située avec une vue magnifique et un espace agréable.
Rustique, elle nécessite toutefois des aménagements en ce qui concerne la cuisine et la salle de bain.
Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour.

Gîte au calme avec une superbe vue sur la montagne, situé dans le centre d’un petit village a 1km environ de la ville d’Argeles Gazost, très animée.
Le gîte est très bien situé au carrefour des grands sites des Pyrénées .
